#31 Pregnancy in PACES (part 1)
In this episode, Sam was joined by Dr Anita Banerjee (@anitaobsmed) to discuss the topic of pregnancy in PACES and the emerging specialty of Obstetric Medicine!
In this first part, Anita and Sam discuss two HUGE topics of gestational diabetes and venous thromboembolism in pregnancy, covering all the pertinent aspects of managing these patients which can be, at best, daunting and, at worst, TERRIFYING.

#29 Confidentiality
This episode Sam brings Dr Tommy Isaac aboard the podcast to discuss a topic which comes up very often in PACES and that is confidentiality. Given this is a topic which spans across all ages I should probably provide full disclosure that Tommy is a paediatric registrar, but he's been generous enough to take some time out from watching cartoons and colouring in to join us to discuss this potentially hazardous topic!

Customer Reviews
Great company during long driving commutes!
Recently discovered the podcast and have been listening non stop during my current 2 hour round trip commutes. Really entertaining as well as informative - an instant fan!
Super helpful, highly recommend
Excellent content to simplify everything I needed to know and explain things that tripped me up. Great podcast !
It worked, what more can I say
This podcast shines out above the dry, dense and pricey world of PACES study material.
The combination of content, tone, and format that make it perfect for listening to on the car stereo on the way to work, or to have on in the background at home, and for more intentional and active listening.
Sam has managed to get some really good interviewees who range from very recent exam candidates to consultants who actually examine on the exam. This means that every episode has not just the usual “medical pearls”, obtainable from any of the vast array of Med-Ed podcasts, but valuable insight into how the exam can be won and lost on the day.
This may sound like over-the-top praise but I just got my result, and it was a pass. So am naturally keen to pay tribute where due. So, the study materials I used were the MRCP4U course, Cases for Paces, Pastest, and The Pre Paces Podcast. By far the most valuable of these was this podcast. And it’s free.
