The Religious Studies Project

The Religious Studies Project (RSP) features weekly conversations with leading scholars of Religious Studies and related fields. Our aim is to provide engaging, concise, and reliable accounts of the most important concepts, traditions, scholars, and methodologies in the contemporary study of religion. Episodes are produced by The Religious Studies Project Association (SCIO), a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (charity number SC047750). RSP material is disseminated under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported License and can be distributed and utilised freely, provided full citation is given.
Essential listening if you’re interested in the interface of faith and public discourse

I haven’t invested enough time in this series till today. But, in the face of #BlackLivesMatter and our own work-based explorations in creating better post ‘colonially’ aware resources (whatever that may mean to me on the day I’m working on it!) these snippets into other scholars minds and research are a stimulating delight! They remind me of the power and the complexity of interdisciplinary research. Of the wealth of riches that come from conversation and exploration. My grateful thanks to the hosts and the guests. I’m now subscribed on ITunes and need to prioritise listening to the back catalogue at this essentially formative time for our subjects. Thank you all! ❤️❤️❤️

Samuel Ward is a friend and was my tutor for my first anthropology tutorial. He introduced me to this podcast, and I’m so glad he did. It’s a challenging listen, and not something I can put on if I’m feeling absent minded, but it is informative and accessible. I’d love some book recommendations to accompany the episodes of thats something you guys would do. Keep it up!
Great way to continue interest in religious studies

Having read theology and religious studies at university, these podcasts are a great way to keep in touch with current discussions. Many thanks.
