Welcome back everyone, ourselves included, to the RoboCast! Today, we visit Bristol to see what kinds of mayhem the beetleweights are cooking up in February's BBB Beetle Brawl hosted by Bristol Bot Builders.
This episode may be a slightly different spin on our usual fight-by-fight review format; instead, we three chose nine robots and builders to discuss what we like about their machines and how the event went for each.

Pretty flipping good
Thought the April 2023 episode with Jake Ewert was the best ever ep of this podcast (even though I love the big 3hr preview nights). He was brilliant, interesting and opinionated and whole episode was concise, focused and most importantly, fun. It just worked.
Sam is a decent presenter who keeps the pace good and the team on track - when so many podcasts are needlessly long this gets it right most of the time - though I would slice down to 90mins max. The 2 main contributors know their stuff and they get some good guests - especially Tim Rackley from Ragnarok - who’s interesting (the behind the scenes stuff is great), funny, and a natural with the mic. Sam, Steve and Jevan work well as a three and their different personalities combine well. Keep it up!

Always fun and interesting to listen to! Great if you’re a fan of shows like Robot Wars, Battlebots or anything like that!
