Nothing like a little violent religious extremism to brighten up your day, right? Well, this wasn’t our favorite episode, but it did have its moments, and Lucy and I had a fun time talking about the show, as always. Hope you enjoy.

PS I can’t believe I forgot to mention what a great episode of “What If…?” It was this week. Zombie superheroes!!! Even if you don’t usually watch that show, you might get a kick out of this one. And of course, we’re covering it over on House Podcastica.

Some thrills and chills in this episode for sure, as Maggie’s group gets winnowed to basically just her and Negan. Nice couple, those two.

    440: "Acheron: Part II" (S11E2)

This ep reminded me of times early on in The Walking Dead when characters would make perplexingly frustrating moral choices. Ah, nostalgia. Aside from that, some amazing zombie action, and perhaps some of Eugene’s best scenes ever, and a lot more.

    439: "Acheron, Part I" (S11E1)

It’s the first episode of the FINAL SEASON OF THE WALKING DEAD!!! That’s heavy man. At least it was a great one, in our opinion, with thrills, laughs, and classic Walking Dead moral dilemmas. Awesome way to start off the final leg of this show, and we’re glad you guys are with us to see this thing out :)

    438: Season Ten Wrap-Up Crossover Pt 2

It’s part 2 of our traditional seasonal wrap-up crossover with Chris and Jason of The Talking Dead podcast, covering the mammoth 22-episode season 10, and it was as fun and varied as ever! Also, it’s a great way to catch up before the premiere of the final season next week. Cheers :)

P.S. Be sure to check out part 1 over at The Talking Dead podcast, which you can find at talkingdeadpodcast.com, or wherever you get podcasts.

So great to look back on some of the moments that stood out in our minds over the course of The Walking Dead. And there are so many amazing moments to choose from! It just really drives home what a great show this is that we’ve all chosen to spend so much of our time on. I think you guys are really going to enjoy this one :)

My Favourite Podcast

I absolutely love this podcast. I’ve been rewatching TWD and listening to the podcasts from back in 2010 and it’s made watching the show again even more enjoyable because I can hear your guys opinion. I’ve also gone back and listened to the podcasts for FTWD (watched World Beyond and listened at the same time) I’ve loved listening to all the different co-hosts/guests over the years, I truly love this podcast and it makes quarantine much easier. Love you guys, thank you so much❤️

This one’s special

I don’t know why I only found this podcast a couple years ago as I have been loyally watching The Walking Dead ever since it’s first release in 2010, but I’m so glad I did. Listening feels like catching up with like-minded friends who equally appreciate a good laugh and a critical and deep look into the intentions of the show. I especially appreciate that there is a curiosity for topics deeper than the usual coverage. For example the way the show displays and treats LGBTQIA+ community members, I especially loved Lucy’s analysis of a character’s possible Asexuality. It’s refreshing to hear people discuss something you love, who also have a diverse and critical perspective on the way marginalized communities are represented. And as always with Podcastica, being a listener and patreon supporter of them feels like being part of a big community of weirdos (in the best way), and I am loving the active engagement amongst the group.
