Revamped...but not improved alas

International Waters used to be the highlight of my podcst listening, funny, a great host and great guests. When I heard it was going to be revamped as a new format I was disappointed but I figured hey - still the same great host (and he really is good) so let's reserve judgement.

Sadly, after listening to all the subsequent episodes I have to admit it's just not the same. The original format worked so well but this just feels like a pale immitation of it unfortunately and the laughs just aren't there any more. I still listen but it's really not as much fun as it used to be.

Damn.

Shame

Sorry, I gave the new incarnation of the show a go ... I really did, but every episode illustrates how much it relied on British comedians to make it work. Now they have the LA show which they must have wanted - I’m sure it is cheaper to produce, but the only problem is is that you can tell.

Was good...

Well that was fun whilst it lasted but they seem intent on messing up the format. If they go ahead with the change and remove the transatlantic element then all interest will drop away for me. I can’t recommend that anybody subscribe to this podcast at this time.
