The only true crime podcast worth listening to
Husband and wife duo Jill and Dick have a fabulous way of presenting true crime stories in a compelling, sensitive and easy to follow way where I'm always surprised that the hour is up - leaving me itching for more.
Dick reviews IPA beers connected to the location of their story - making this a different take on true crime presenting. And towards the end, followers are recognised for their suggestions for future stories and feedback, which increases engagement.
Both presenters effortlessly bounce off one another's energy seamlessly - making this a real treat to listen to.
Always my 'go to' podcast during a long walk, sat on my favourite bench watching the River Thames flow by or funnily enough - to aid restful sleep.
Thanks Jill and Dick for your efforts from a dedicated UK 🇬🇧 follower.
Detailed but dull
Very well researched but the man sounds like he’s half asleep. Makes listening very dull
One of the best true crime podcasts
I love this podcast for its narrative style & heavy detail! Jill & Dick do fantastic deep-dives into cases, which I always find to be scrupulously researched. I particularly like cases with medical involvement, as Dick is able to offer unique insight into the nature of certain injuries or illnesses. I also find the hosts to be very respectful compared to a lot of true crime, which is a huge bonus for me. Finally, their voices are extremely gentle and soothing - I’ll sometimes put on an old episode to go to sleep! It’s very well-balanced, and I would highly recommend this show to anyone who likes narrative-driven true crime.
