My humble pie...
I was a listener of this podcast before the US elections and came to believe that Jan Markell was just another right wingm US, fundamentalist. Well, I was right that she is certainly American and a fundamentalist. I believed it was all about fear of the left. I wanted Obama to get the presidency. I'm not a US citizen, and believed he was going to heal the wounds inflicted by the previous administration. I was so wrong.
I have come back to this podcast and stopped listening to a lot of others that teach a sentimental gospel. Jan is doing something that needs to be done. She (and her guests) are giving us insights into the way the church is heading and we need to hear that. I wish someone from the UK would be called to do this too.
Thank you Jan for warning me of some of the heresies that are flooding the book shops, pulpits and TV shows in these times. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to get information I might not otherwise get. Keep on that watchtower and I'll keep listening!
