    #2 Manchester - Resilience As a Leader

In this episode, we explore the topic of resilience for leaders, acknowledging that every leader will need to overcome battles in both their personal and professional life.  You’ll hear powerful tales of resilience from some of our very own participants who made up two gripping panel discussions. Individuals shared their experiences of working on a personal level and at a national and international level. Afterwards, the participants share their reflections from the session and reveal the changes they’ve made to be more resilient. The Lord Mayor of the City of Manchester, Yasmine Dar, shares her inspiring journey to her current position and recaps on her experience speaking at day 5 of the programme based on presentation and influencing skills.  We hear past participant Paula Watts’ speech, recalling her experience of being on the first wave of this programme back in 2021 and revealing her hopes for this year's attendees.  At the end of the episode, the participants give intimate feedback as they ask each other the important questions: ‘Has the programme challenged any of your ways of thinking?’, ‘Have you received any new opportunities as a result of this programme?’ and ‘What do you want to work on going forward?’.
