Love these conversations and insights into different lives, funny, sad, often full of life wisdom. My favourite podcast.
Perfection!

I’m so fed up of seeing the same celebrities being featured on every new podcast and have realised I much prefer to find those which feature ‘normal people’ (like on the fabulous Uncanny podcast.) Where are you Going? shows that people usually have far more to reveal than you might expect at first glance. Here we hear all sorts of quirky stories and conversations unexpectedly head off in surprising directions. Catherine has such a pleasant manner, people clearly find her approachable and easy to talk to, actually afterwards I wonder how many found themselves wondering at the amount of information they gave away during the interview. The podcast info says that Catherine’s been collecting stories since 2014, I often find myself wondering when an episode was recorded. It would be good to know. I’m still thinking about the elderly ex-farmhand in Ely whose story brought me to tears (actually I might have sobbed a little) the other day, as I sat on a park bench on a village green. Listen to this gem!
An absolute gem!

I found this by accident and have enjoyed it immensely going through the back catalogue. It can make me laugh and cry all in the same episode. Glorious!
