Our podcast will focus less on the WHAT, and more on the HOW and WHY of writing a book. Of course, we will still focus on WHAT our guests write, and discuss books, but we will examine the things that happen behind the scenes – the book of YOU, the writer. The trials and tribulations, the rejections and the successes – we will explore deeper and with greater insight, the authors psyche and process, and the person beneath the book. Hosted by Stuart, Melissa, Emily, and Florianne, we will welcome guests to discuss all of the above and we hope that the conversations we have will be relatable for all who listen. Welcome to WriteCast!

Well done and keep going

There are a lot of great podcasts about writing, publishing and self-publishing but this one is different. This feels very honest about the lows and about the process of being a writer and a published author. I’m particularly looking forward to the conversations with published authors, mentors and writers who deliver excellent course. For me it is essential we uncover the writer’s origin stories but also the writers process through the publication journey. We know it takes time and it takes determination, we know it takes luck and skill but I am enjoying the detail of these various processes. Well done to you both and please keep going. There are so many wonderful people to talk to and who want to talk to you.

Sharing the writing life experience

I loved this first episode of Write Cast . It felt like spending time with friends who understand the ups, downs & quirky parts of the writing life. Definitely fulfils the motto & aim of 'writing can be lonely but if doesn't have to be'. I look forward to the next episode.
