Zenways guided Zen meditations

Zenways (Zendo Kyodan) promotes and encourages activities and practices that enhance human wellbeing, balance and awakening (satori or kensho - the enlightenment of Zen) in the many different situations we find ourselves in. It's founder, Julian Daizan Skinner Roshi, was the first Englishman to go to Japan and become a Zen master in the rigorous Rinzai tradition of Zen, and teaches at the Yugagyo Dojo in London, UK. In this podcast series, we offer a simple guided Zen breath counting meditation (susokukan) recorded in the main languages of the world. May these recordings help you and those around you to find and realise the truth.

I have come back to this guided meditation again and again. Especially when I have had a break from meditation, it is a gentle and kind way to get back into it. Very clear instructions given in a calming voice. It has the quality of simplicity that brings you to the good place quickly. And at 25 minutes it's a good starting length. Highly recommended.
