Dann kommt doch gern vorbei! Wann? Am Samstag, 21. März 2026, von 13 bis 14 Uhr. Wo? Auf der Leipziger Buchmesse, MDR-Bühne am Literaturbauwagen, Halle 2, Stand H301. Wir freuen uns auf euch! A.I. Goes to War + Is ‘A.I. Brain Fry’ Real? + How Grammarly Stole Casey’s Identity

A.I. is changing the ways war is waged. This week, we explore how the U.S. and Israel are using A.I. to identify targets in the conflict with Iran — and why data centers and fiber optic cables are targets on the front lines. Then, researcher Julie Bedard breaks down “A.I. brain fry,” a new condition she and her colleagues studied among A.I. users at work. And finally, Casey shares his battle with Grammarly after the company used his identity in a new A.I. feature, without his consent. Guest: Julie Bedard, managing director and partner at Boston Consulting Group who is also the lead author of a survey of “A.I. brain fry” in the workplace. Lesson #11 - CompTIA CySa+ (How to Pass) | Analyzing Potentially Malicious Activity

Get ready to Pass! When you spot suspicious activity on a system, it's crucial to investigate it right away to figure out how to respond. A common way to detect these threats is by monitoring things like network traffic, user accounts, and file access. Both Windows and Linux have built-in tools that can help you see what processes are running and what they're connected to. However, to get a more in-depth look, there are also a number of third-party tools that provide detailed insights into system activity, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations. This process is a vital part of keeping your systems secure.

    The Apple Release Tier List

A lot happened this week! First, the crew falls down a rabbit hole discussing the Subaru UI and volume knobs before jumping right into all of the new Apple devices that were released. Then they talk about the Honor robot phone, Ray-Ban Meta privacy issues, and Google's 30% Play Store tax. They wrap it up by explaining the Bam Adebayo record breaking performance in tech terms.

Episode 1 - In discussion with Niovi Vavoula - When migration meets tech

In this first episode of WomenAizer, we explore the intersection of artificial intelligence, migration governance, and fundamental rights with Niovi Vavoula. Drawing on her extensive research on EU migration law and digital surveillance, the conversation examines how algorithmic profiling, automated decision-making, and interoperable large-scale IT systems are transforming border management across Europe. We discuss the evolution of EU surveillance law, the role of the Court of Justice of the European Union in shaping judicial benchmarks, and the increasing reliance on data-driven tools in systems such as ETIAS and VIS. The episode also addresses the implications of the newly adopted AI Act, the limits of the GDPR, and the persistent difficulty of ensuring meaningful remedies for individuals affected by automated decision-making. As migration governance becomes increasingly digital, questions of vulnerability, accountability, and data protection move to the forefront of legal debate. At its core, this conversation asks a critical question: how can the European Union reconcile its security objectives with its commitment to fundamental rights in an era of AI-driven border governance?Introduction: 00:00 - 01:34 Niovi Vavoula's background: 01:35 - 14:10 Legal perspectives: 14:11 - 33:00 Technological perspectives: 33:01 - 48:07 Signature questions: 48:08 - 51:49 Selected References: Vavoula, N.
