    Parity Hilarity

    Week 2 came and went and I'm not sure what the hell happened. A bunch of upsets, lots of terrible pitching, and Brian and Aleks somehow remain undefeated. What to make of it all? Occam's Razor suggests that randomness is at play here, but the emergence of Brian simply illustrates that we have a lot of parity, which suggests a very competitive year for us.

    Le Boeuf Knocks Down the Champs

    We discussed spring break, WBC and the start of the MLB season including the weird Netflix opening day thing. Otherwise, we jump into reviewing the extended Week 1. It starts off with the huge upset, but is it really an upset if "David" is pretty good? We end with a brief overview of Week 2 and a super quick glance at Team Runs Scored after the initial 6-8 games.

    Draft Recap!

    The greatest day of the year commenced and joy was had. And then we picked players and it all came crashing down. Some teams did well, others spent the entire 2 min for their pick. But it was a grand ol' time picking our teams for the 2026 season. We also took a sneak peak at the 1st week for our predictions.

    The Boys Are Back! Well, Most of Them

    We return, fresh and ready to talk Chicago Beef keepers and the upcoming 2026 season. While Aleks isn't returning, we will miss his presence and insightful thoughts. We blast into the offseason, ABS upcoming impact on 2026 in MLB, and spend the majority of the time outlining everyone's pending decisions for keepers prior to 3/14's draft, according to Jay, The Happiest Day of the Year. Sorry we went long, we're still warming up.

    Cambodia Flying Canucks Fly....Again.

    Another season is over, another champion. Chicago Beef League in seemingly the 27th year of operation. Congrats to John and his Cambodia Flying Canucks in winning their 8th championship. Makes me realize he's good at this thing. Or a witch. Yea, a witch. One of those two things. Anyway, we discuss the incredibly close matchup and briefly ramble on learnings/takeaways plus a moment on 2026 favorites (not Suneel).

    Its The Final Countdown!

    We're leaving together But still it's farewell And maybe we'll come back To Earth, who can tell? I guess there is no one to blame We're leaving ground (leaving ground) Will things ever be the same again Its the final countdown 4 teams went in, 2 came out. Alas, one matchup was so close it came down to the OBP of the last batter of the NYY v BOS matchup. The other matchup wasn't as close but still leads us to a finals where we all think there's some sort of Winnetka Wicken thing going on, and basically David v Goliath. Go David!

    On to the Semi-Finals!!!

    Minor technical issue....re-posted! In another devastating blow to the league, John and Mike won their matchups (ok, fine they were byes). In more important news, Josh UPSETS Jay. Jay's performance was absolutely baffling and he will be reeling for weeks to come in the offseason. Ken beats Suneel with a stronger pitching side. Suneel really should be more careful with Ohtani, he deserves better...Anyway, onto the Semis! We feature our almost always perfect picks and THE BONES have spoken. Listen in to hear the fate of the teams in the Semis!

    Winnetka Wiccan At Work

    Week 22 is a wrap, where Battle of Evermore sneakily wins in Gap (vs Jr) and Cambodia Flying Canucks beats Mexikens to win the bat. Aleks is calling for an investigation of the Winnetka Wiccan coalition as there can't possibly be any other explanation for this season's turnout. Obvs. In other news, Mike wins the pick'em in a triumphant comeback over Chip. Onto the Playoffs, where Aleks is inexplicably supporting Suneel (over Ken) and Jr over Jay. Sigh. Let the games begin!
