Everything Is Content We Are Grape

- Society & Culture
In a world where Everything Is Content - Beth McColl, Ruchira Sharma and Oenone are here to guide you through the stories that have ignited the online zeitgeist each week.
Films, viral long-reads, Instagram scandals, reality TV obsessions…: whether it's fine art or a TikTok trend, if you can post about it on the internet - then we can and will turn it into discourse.
Every week, Beth, Ruchira and Oenone will obsess over the pop-culture culture stories that fascinate us all and weigh-in on the conversations that they have incited online. Why are we so interested in these stories? And what does this say about us as we try to navigate life in the *real world*
Get in huns, we're about to make some content!

Ep 30: Bisexuality in pop culture - a deep dive
In celebration of Pride Month - this week on Everything Is Content, we’re doing a deep dive into a topic that is very close to our hearts - bisexuality in pop culture. Who are our bi and queer icons from the world of showbiz? (and bizarrely, the animal kingdom…), what are the new frontiers for bi representation in the media? and what does the queer pop boom mean for us?
If you’d like to hear us deep dive on a topic - send us a message on Instagram @everythingiscontentpod
And while we have you - we’d like to remind our UK listeners to vote in the general election on Thursday 4th July.

Ep 29: It Girl Nicola Coughlan, viral street interviews and birthing honesty
Today on Everything Is Content - we dive into the It Girl of the moment - Nicola Coughlan. She’s the latest Skims girlie and we are so here for it! When’s it our turn, Kim?! We also take a dive into the world of street interviews. What happens when a voxpop goes viral, and are there moral implications we should consider? We also discuss Louise Thompson’s interview with her former Made In Chelsea co-star Jamie Laing, where she opens up about some of the traumas she has faced around motherhood and birth.
Our conversation about Louise Thompson mentions birth loss, trauma and PTSD - so please tread carefully if you find any of those topics upsetting.

Danai Gurira - star of The Walking Dead: Everything In Conversation
Today, Oenone is in conversation with actress, playwright and activist Danai Gurira. Danai plays the beloved character Michonne in one of our favourite shows - The Walking Dead.
The Walking Dead is back with a new spinoff series - The Ones Who Live - which sees Michonne reunite with her husband Rick after they were separated in a post-zombie-apocalyptic world. We find out what it’s like to portray a love story in such a high stakes world, why Danai thinks The Walking Dead captured audiences from its very first pilot, and her experiences as an executive producer, lead and writer on the series.
All episodes of The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live are available exclusively on Sky and Now. You can binge all 11 series of The Walking Dead there as well!

Ep 27: Hot rodent boyfriends, the return of lads' mags and Blue Sisters
Oenone’s back on good old fashioned British soil so we’re all back in the studio together again, and boy does it feel good! Join the girlies for the biggest debate we have probably ever had on the podcast… is the term ‘hot rodent’ a compliment or is it derogatory? We also dive into some of the nuance behind the return of Loaded - are we going to welcome erotica in back into our newsagents with open arms? We also get into bookworm mode to discuss one of the most hotly anticipated books of the summer - Coco Mellors’ second book Blue Sisters. Don't worry - the conversation is spoiler free for anyone who hasn't read the book yet!
Wanna chat? We’re on Instagram and TikTok @everythingiscontentpod. We love having a natter over there so do let us know if there is anything you’d like us to cover, or if you have an opinion you think we should know!

Ep 26: Ageing - a deep dive
Today we’ll be taking a deep dive into the fountain of youth for our second beauty special - and this time we’re talking about ageing. Has looking become replaced being skinny as the toxic beauty standard of today? Join Beth, Ruchira and Oenone as we discuss some of the gorgeous women who have chosen to age visibly in the public eye, how anti-ageing pressure can impact men as well as women and how the pressure to look young has trickled down to primary school age children.
If you have anything you’d like to add to the conversion - you can get in touch with us on Instagram @everythingiscontentpod. We’d love to hear from you.
Last week we did a special deep dive into makeovers - so get yourself back over there to listen to that if you haven’t heard it yet!
