The Crazy Ex Narrative Is An Abuser's Best Friend

In this episode, I break down a viral Threads video that many people believed showed a "crazy ex girlfriend." But after watching it multiple times and slowing it down frame by frame, I noticed details that completely changed my interpretation. We look at the edited cuts, body language, verbal statements, and behaviors that were easy to miss on a first viewing. Rather than discussing guilt or innocence, this is an exercise in critical thinking and behavioral analysis. It is a reminder that short, edited clips on social media rarely tell the whole story. I also discuss why victims of abuse often beg their partners not to leave, why trauma bonding can make behavior appear confusing to outsiders, and how selective editing can shape public perception before viewers have all the facts. Therapy-Speak & Thirst Traps: Let's Talk About Emotionally Slutty Men

Therapy-speak. Trauma dumping. Parasocial intimacy. Let’s talk about the rise of the “emotionally slutty” man online. In this episode, I break down the difference between genuine vulnerability and performative oversharing, plus the social media archetypes using emotional openness to build attention, validation, and the illusion of intimacy. Intuition or Insecurity? - What We Can Learn From Carrie Bradshaw and Facegirl

In this episode of Character Analysis, I break down one of the most relatable moments from Sex and the City: realizing someone doesn’t like you… and not knowing why. Using Carrie Bradshaw and the infamous “Face Girl” moment, we get into why these interactions stick with us, why we spiral, and what it actually means when something like this bothers you more than it should. We’ll talk intuition vs insecurity, observation vs interpretation, and how to stop overthinking every awkward interaction. Friend or Dangerous Frenemy?

Enjoy the latest Character Analysis episode and be sure to follow us on Spotify Today, I want to talk about not just your garden variety toxic the, but your persuasive, charismatic liar that can demolish your life and sense of reality brick by brick. In this episode, I’m breaking down the dangerous type of liar. The kind who can look you dead in the face, stay perfectly calm, and convince an entire room that what you know happened… didn’t. In this episode, we unpack the Narrative Architect. People who plant seeds early, build trust strategically, and then slowly reshape reality in their favor. People who don’t just lie, but recruit. Danielle Walter: Fast Love or Red Flags?

Enjoy the latest episode of Character Analysis. How about we stop normalizing quickie engagements? Yesterday, People magazine announced the engagement of influencer Danielle Walter and her boyfriend, Lucas Alcantara. True to form, any woman who expressed skepticism about the upcoming nuptials was labeled a Bitter Betty. Because when a relationship is built in public, God forbid people analyze what they see. And what many see is a big, bright bouquet of red flags. In this episode, I’m talking fast-tracked relationships, curated transparency, influencer echo chambers, and why women are still expected to ignore red flags and context clues in favor of blind support. ✒️JOIN ME ON SUBSTACKADHD dog sitter with a trauma recovery background. Dating App Trend or Serious Red Flag?

Cross-posting my latest Character Analysis episode here. Make sure to follow Character Analysis on Spotify to get notifications of new episodes. If every straight man on your dating apps says Good Will Hunting is his favorite movie, that’s not taste. That’s a red flag with a screenplay. In this episode, I break down why men relate to Will, how avoidant attachment shows up in straight single men on dating apps, and why emotional unavailability keeps getting mistaken for depth. We’re talking fear of vulnerability, mixed signals, and what happens when someone doesn’t know how to process emotion so it comes out as sarcasm, shutdowns, or sudden anger. 🛍️ COMFORT, BEAUTY & FEEL GOOD FINDSMy Amazon storefront is a mix of comfort items, low-effort beauty, wind-down favorites, and everyday essentials I actually use.
