    #09: “Stop, Pause, Re-evaluate”

How do you create a life where you feel fulfilled and become the best version of yourself? How do you live in an environment that feels like a warm hug — and a home that feels safe and welcoming? This conversation stayed with me long after we stopped recording. My guest this week is Sophie Harvey. She is a modern-day Snow White in the best possible way. She even had little birds singing during our recording! She turns the ordinary into something extraordinary. She’s simply incredible. We were planning to discuss stillness — but what I really uncovered was something even more powerful: how to appreciate the little moments, even while balancing work, family, and the chaos of everyday life. Sophie wears many hats: photographer, editor of Preloved Magazine, interior design teacher, storyteller. Her creativity seems endless. If you enjoy this episode, please tap Follow and share it with one friend who might love these kinds of conversations too. Merci, as always, for being here. #08: “Brocantes, Bold Fabric & Farmhouse Dreams”

When the BBC launched Interior Design Masters, I was hooked from day one. Each episode, the contestants have to design a space and physically transform it with a mini team of trades. It’s fun, comforting, inspiring — everything you’d want if you love decorating like me. Today’s guest is the brilliant Micaela Sharp — British designer, upholsterer by trade, and former Interior Design Masters contestant. Two years ago, she left the UK and moved to Spain. She has just found her dream farmhouse to renovate and she’ll tell us about that. In this episode, we talk about her joyful use of colour and pattern. We dive into upcycling — where to find hidden treasures, how to start transforming them, and what to do if you’re a complete beginner. And if, like me, you’ve always wanted to make a headboard… Micaela is the master you need. I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did. And if you like the podcast, please take a moment to follow and rate it on Spotify or Apple Podcasts — it really helps me grow this space. Merci ! “Creativity is an extension of your soul and it doesn’t have to be perfect” Henrietta Martindale has that effortless elegance we all admire.
