5: A Grown Woman's Battle In A Little Girls Body: Part 5 When Infertility Enters A Marriage

In this special episode of Suddenly Infertile, I’m joined by a very important guest — my husband. Together we open up about our journey through infertility from both perspectives. We talk about how we met, when I shared my diagnosis of Primary Ovarian Insufficiency, and what it has looked like navigating infertility as a married couple. During the conversation, my husband shares his honest feelings about what infertility has been like for him as a partner, the emotional challenges men often face but rarely talk about, and how couples can support their wives and each other through such a difficult and uncertain season. We also share some exciting and hopeful news that we were recently awarded a fertility grant and are currently in the process of preparing for the next step in our journey. While we are grateful to share parts of this experience, we also ask for understanding as some details of this process may remain private as we move forward. This episode is a reminder that infertility is not just an individual experience, but something that impacts couples and families. Our hope is that this conversation encourages honesty, compassion, and support for anyone walking a similar path. You can follow the journey and connect with me on Instagram @SuddenlyInfertile. 3: A Grown Woman's Battle in a Little Girl's Body: Part 3 What Broke Me, Built Me

In this deeply personal episode of Suddenly Infertile, I open up about the experiences that shaped me. From my college years to my first marriage, divorce, and the devastating loss of my father, this episode traces the emotional groundwork that made my diagnosis feel like both a breaking point and a revelation. This is a story about growing up too fast in a body that couldn’t keep up. About grief layered on grief. About trying to be strong while quietly unraveling. And about realizing that infertility doesn’t begin at a diagnosis—it often shows up after years of survival, loss, and unanswered prayers. We also spill some necessary tea: infertility discrimination is illegal. Just like pregnancy, infertility is protected under federal law, and employees undergoing fertility treatment have rights to reasonable accommodations at work. If you believe you are experiencing infertility discrimination, you can learn more and file a claim with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC): 🔗 Learn more: https://www.eeoc.gov/laws/guidance/pregnancy-discrimination-and-related-issues🔗 File a claim: https://www.eeoc.gov/employees/charge.cfm If you’ve ever felt like a grown woman trapped in a little girl’s body…If you’ve ever grieved a life you thought you’d have…If you’ve ever wondered how much one heart can hold… This episode is for you. ✨ Follow the journey on Instagram: @suddenlyinfertile🎙️ Interested in being a guest on the show?
