    Late In Life Lesbians

What does it actually mean to be a late-in-life lesbian… and is there even such a thing as “too late”? In this episode, Alix & Kayla dive into one of the most requested topics from the Sister Wives community: realizing you’re queer later in life. From women coming out in their 30s, 40s, and beyond to the grief, freedom, and total identity spiral that can come with it, this conversation is equal parts hilarious and deeply emotional.  The episode starts off chaotic (as it should) with a game of Gay or Nay, breaking down the “signs” that maybe your best friendship was a little too intense, why overanalyzing every interaction with a woman might mean something, and whether being too much of a girls’ girl is… well, kind of gay. But things quickly shift into deeper territory as they read listener stories from women navigating divorce, motherhood, long-term marriages to men, and the quiet realization that something has been missing for years. They unpack the grief of feeling “late to the party,” the heartbreak of hurting a good partner, and the strange peace that comes with finally being honest with yourself.  Along the way, they share their own stories of missed signs, intense friendships, and the ways queerness can sometimes show up emotionally long before it shows up romantically or physically. They also talk labels—baby gay, late bloomer, femme, masc—and ask whether these labels are helpful, harmful, or just plain fun. It’s funny, tender, validating, and full of the kind of honesty that makes you feel a little less alone. 🔔 Subscribe on YouTube for more episodes 🎧 Listen on Spotify Follow WNS on Instagram Follow WNS on TikTok Follow Kayla Follow Alix Visit our retreat center in Nicaragua! Does My Ex Girlfriend Listen To My Podcast?

In this Quickie episode, Alix & Kayla spiral into one of the most accidentally hilarious conversations yet after realizing an ex might be lurking on their podcast TikTok. What starts as a simple “wait… does she listen?” quickly turns into a full-blown conversation about exes, boundaries, social media stalking, and the very lesbian art of never fully disappearing from each other’s lives. From suspicious TikTok profile recommendations to the absolute chaos of accidentally following an ex’s entire friend group on Instagram and LinkedIn (yes, really), they unpack the difference between harmless curiosity and crossing a boundary. Along the way, they revisit one of the most painfully funny stories from early in their relationship: trying to cut ties with an ex who just would not stop reaching out. They also get into the bigger questions behind it all:  Is it normal to check up on an ex?  Would you listen to their podcast just once?  And where does curiosity end and creeping begin? It’s messy, hilarious, slightly mortifying, and deeply lesbian in the most relatable way possible. 🔔 Subscribe on YouTube for more episodes 🎧 Listen on Spotify Follow WNS on Instagram Follow WNS on TikTok Follow Kayla Follow Alix Visit our retreat center in Nicaragua! We're Getting Divorced

What actually counts as a divorceable offense… and what’s just relationship growing pains? In this episode, Alix & Kayla dive into one of the most complex (and very requested) topics from the Sister Wives community: divorce. From lighthearted “would you leave me for this?” scenarios to deeply personal listener stories, they unpack what really pushes relationships to the breaking point—and what might still be worth working through.  The conversation starts off chaotic (as always) with a game of “divorceable offense or not,” covering everything from annoying habits and phone snooping to bigger issues like emotional disconnection, broken trust, and feeling more like roommates than partners. But things quickly shift into deeper territory as they read real submissions from listeners navigating divorce in all its forms.  They explore the quiet heartbreak of falling out of love, the complicated reality of staying “for the kids,” and the guilt, growth, and self-awareness that can come from infidelity. Along the way, they also talk about late-in-life coming out stories, what honesty in a marriage really looks like, and whether divorce should ever be “off the table.”  Through humor, personal experiences, and a lot of honest reflection, Alix & Kayla break down the gray areas of long-term relationships—the parts that aren’t always dramatic, but still change everything. It’s emotional, messy, surprisingly funny, and deeply relatable—just the way we like it. 🔔 Subscribe on YouTube for more episodes 🎧 Listen on Spotify Follow WNS on Instagram Follow WNS on TikTok Follow Kayla Follow Alix Visit our retreat center in Nicaragua! Hooking Up With Your Bestie's Ex (Amanda Batula, Ciara Miller & West Wilson)

What happens when loyalty, love, and timing all collide… and someone crosses the ultimate friendship line? In this Quickie episode, Alix & Kayla dive into one of the messiest (and most talked-about) relationship dynamics: hooking up with a friend’s ex. Using the latest Bravo drama as a jumping-off point, they break down the viral love triangle that has everyone asking the same question—is this ever okay? What starts as a pop culture deep dive quickly turns into a much bigger conversation about friendship, betrayal, and what it really means to be a “girl’s girl.” From secret hookups and overlapping situationships to the emotional fallout of being lied to, they unpack why how something happens can matter just as much as what happens. They also get personal, sharing their own college-era experiences navigating messy friend group dynamics, unspoken boundaries, and the gray area between harmless crushes and real emotional attachments. Along the way, they explore how age, intention, communication, and honesty all play a role in whether something feels forgivable—or friendship-ending. It’s chaotic, opinionated, and a little unhinged—but underneath it all is a very real question:  Where is the line… and would you ever come back from crossing it? 🔔 Subscribe on YouTube for more episodes 🎧 Listen on Spotify Follow WNS on Instagram Follow WNS on TikTok Follow Kayla Follow Alix Visit our retreat center in Nicaragua! WLW Strap Stories

What happens when you ask the internet for their most chaotic strap-on stories? In this episode, Alix & Kayla dive into one of their wildest listener-submitted topics yet—and you guys absolutely delivered. From TSA agents pulling harnesses out of carry-ons to dogs sprinting through the house with a strap-on in their mouth, the stories are equal parts hilarious, horrifying, and way too relatable. They react in real time to your submissions, breaking down everything from travel mishaps and accidental family discoveries to the universal question: what actually ruins the mood? Along the way, they share their own experiences—like navigating a surprise silicone allergy, testing different materials, and the moment a very wrong-sized replacement showed up. The conversation also gets into the realities no one really talks about: figuring out what works for your body, the awkward logistics of sex toys, and whether people are out here bringing their own to the function (??). Through listener stories, personal chaos, and a few business ideas that probably shouldn’t exist, Alix & Kayla explore the funny, messy, and very real side of sex and relationships. It’s chaotic, honest, and absolutely not safe for family listening. 🔔 Subscribe on YouTube for more episodes 🎧 Listen on Spotify Follow WNS on Instagram Follow WNS on TikTok Follow Kayla Follow Alix Visit our retreat center in Nicaragua! My Girlfriend Has Only Ever Been With Guys

What happens when great chemistry meets… not-so-great sexual compatibility? In this Quickie episode, Alix & Kayla respond to a vulnerable listener question about navigating intimacy with a “baby gay” partner who’s never been with a woman—and isn’t quite enjoying sex yet. From struggling to orgasm to feeling unsure about what actually feels good, they unpack the many layers that could be at play. The conversation dives into everything from internalized shame and sexual inexperience to the mental side of pleasure and how pressure can completely shut things down. They also talk about the reality that many women—regardless of their partner’s gender—haven’t fully explored what works for their own bodies. Through personal experiences and plenty of humor, Alix & Kayla emphasize the importance of communication, curiosity, and taking the pressure off performance. Whether it’s experimenting with new approaches, making things playful, or simply asking the right questions, they break down how couples can navigate these tricky (and very common) situations together. It’s honest, supportive, a little chaotic—and full of reminders that good sex is something you build, not something you’re just supposed to magically know. 🔔 Subscribe on YouTube for more episodes 🎧 Listen on Spotify Follow WNS on Instagram Follow WNS on TikTok Follow Kayla Follow Alix Visit our retreat center in Nicaragua! Masc And Femme Beauty Standards

What does it actually mean to be masc or femme… and who decided the rules? In this episode, Alix & Kayla dive into one of the most unexpectedly heated topics in the Sister Wives community: masc vs. femme beauty standards. After a TikTok clip sparked a wave of strong opinions, they unpack the nuance behind it all—reading real listener comments, challenging their own perspectives, and asking the bigger question: who is actually setting these standards? From body expectations and androgyny to acne, fashion, and the pressure to “look the part,” the conversation explores how masc and femme identities are perceived both inside the queer community and in the heteronormative world. They also get into the subtle (and not-so-subtle) ways misogyny can still show up in queer spaces—and how differently masc-presenting women are treated in everyday life. Of course, it wouldn’t be this podcast without a little chaos—so expect games like “Masc or Straight Man,” tangents about backwards hats, and a surprisingly deep dive into America’s Next Top Model and early 2000s beauty culture. It’s honest, messy, and full of hot takes… but at the end of the day, it comes back to one thing: confidence, authenticity, and saying f** the rules. 🔔 Subscribe on YouTube for more episodes 🎧 Listen on Spotify Follow WNS on Instagram Follow WNS on TikTok Follow Kayla Follow Alix Visit our retreat center in Nicaragua!
