I am not a manager (or am I?)
Growing up, I never once thought I wanted to be a manager. Neither did it occur to me that I might become a manager, be it per chance.
And yet, I am one: I manage a bookstore.
Until I found Manager Tools, I thought I would hace no choice but to improvise at managing the work of those under my supervision. I knew I would do a lousy job at it, but I was going to give it a shot.
After finding MT, I not only know I can do a decent job at managing, I want to be a great manager, am confident I can be a competent one and have discovered I have some particular talents that may help my coworkers actually be the best they can be.
So, for myself and possibly on behalf of some of those around me, thank you Mark, Mike, Wendii and Dani!
Thank you Manager Tools for helping me find what could very well be my hidden calling!
