Saul Talk is a series of discussions featuring the thoughts and words of W.B. Saul High School’s Natural Resource Management students. Saul Talk focuses on, addresses, and provides possible solutions to environmental issues as it relates to climate change, water quality, waste management, and environmental injustices to name a few. It is our goal at Saul Talk to educate our community about these topics in order to create change and improve the state of our planet at large.     Saul Talk: Greenhouse Gas Emissions in PA

    In this episode of Saul Talk, the Class of 2021 Natural Resources Management students at W.B. Saul High School of Agricultural Sciences explore proposed Greenhouse Gas Emissions reform in Pennsylvania as it relates to the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI). RGGI, is the first mandatory market-based program in the United States to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, is a cooperative effort among the states of Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Virginia to cap and reduce CO2 emissions from the power sector. By participating in RGGI Pennsylvania will reduce climate pollution from carbon emissions by a massive 188 million tons by 2030.

This episode also includes a PSA produced by the class of 2021 encouraging viewers to drink tap by conducting tap vs bottled water taste test.
