How to Stop Bumping Heads With Others

Send us Fan Mail The conflict is not always about the conflict. Sometimes it is pride trying to stay in control, old wounds looking for a target, or a tone that makes people stop hearing your idea and start bracing for impact. If you keep “bumping heads” with your spouse, coworkers, family, or leaders, we are getting honest about the patterns that create repeated relational tension and the habits that can finally break it. We start with the hardest question to ask: what part do I play? From there, we talk through how strong personalities can still build a peaceful, fun, and connected marriage when we practice humility, tenderness, and mutual submission. We also unpack a Christian marriage view of leadership that looks like servant leadership: listening well, honoring your spouse, carrying responsibility, and making decisions without ego. Then we get practical about communication and conflict resolution. Romans 12:18 challenges us to do what depends on us to live at peace, and James 1:19 gives a daily playbook: quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to get angry. We share the tools that actually de-escalate tension, like probing questions, asking permission to share your side, using “I feel” language, and owning your tone with a real apology. We also address workplace conflict and church culture: how assumptions, secondhand stories, unclear roles, and misalignment can turn good people into constant friction, and what wise leaders do to stop contention before it spreads. If you want to be the thermostat who makes every room healthier, press play, then share this with someone you do life with. Subscribe, leave a review, and send this to a friend who needs peace in their relationships. • Marriage Counselor's SHOCKING Truth: "My Wife Earned MORE & Lived Miles Away" - How We Made It Work

Marriage Counselor's SHOCKING Truth: "My Wife Earned MORE & Lived Miles Away" - How We Made It Work

Her first salary was bigger than his after six years of work. Most men would feel threatened. But PG Sebastian made a decision that saved his marriage and built his wealth. In this raw, deeply personal episode of Unbroken Podcast, host Richard Akita sits down with PG Sebastian, relationship coach, certified family counselor, published author, and corporate professional with over 2,700 clients under his belt, for a conversation that will challenge everything you think you know about provision, ego, and what it really takes to survive a long distance marriage. PG opens up about the trade-offs he had to make when his wife earned more than him from day one, the 30 days apart and 12 days together routine that tested their covenant, raising three kids alone while his wife worked miles away, and the one statement his wife made in the kitchen that changed his entire approach to marriage. This isn't theory. This is a counselor who lived what he preaches, and the results speak for themselves: two houses by age 40, a thriving family, and a marriage that gets stronger every year. If you're in a long distance relationship, struggling with ego, or wondering whether provision is really just the man's job, this conversation will give you a roadmap you won't find anywhere else.
