It's a whole thing. We find out that Lorelai is going to graduate from business school at the community college. She was planning to skip the graduation but Rory isn't having that. Rory says they should invite Emily and Richard but Lorelai isn't having it. Naturally, Rory is going to honor those wishes, yes? She doesn't. She goes to visit Richard & Emily in person. She gives them tickets and tells them if they want to go and encourage Lorelai, great. If not, that's ok - she doesn't need to know. Lorelai bumps into Luke and they do some awkward small talk. Lorelai gets a call from Christopher. He says I sent you a basket as a congrats on graduating...you know as friends do. Rory gets a call from Jess. Turns out he's in the city and says she should come visit. She hops on a bus immediately and meets up with him. They walk around the city and talk and eat hotdogs. Lorelai shows up early for her graduation and is shocked to find Emily there with a full film crew. After an amazing day in the city, it's time for Rory to leave but she clearly doesn't want to go. After she gets on the bus, he asks why she came through the window. She says because you didn't say goodbye. He says goodbye and off he goes. But off she doesn't go. The bus is delayed because of a crash. This is BAD NEWS! All the other graduates are giving Lorelai a hard time about her fancy mom with the fancy film crew. She graduates and Rory misses the entire thing. But she does look out and can see how proud her parents are. Afterwards, they take a picture and Richard gives her a graduation gift. When Lorelai gets home she's relieved to see Rory but less relieved to hear why she missed the graduation. She tells her that she just wants to get dinner with her daughter. It doesn't take long after returning home to literally bump into childhood best friend, James. They DEFINITELY weren't into each other as kids! She shows him their old fall bucket list that she found. There's still a few items that they didn't cross off. Everyone around them is like you should finish this even though one of the items is them winning King and Queen of the Harvest (as if a passerthrough like Kaia could possibly win!). They get to work, making some festive donuts, competing in a scarecrow making contest, and more! The SPARKS ARE FLYING and everyone sees it. They even almost kiss but are interrupted by a honk. They keep hanging out and they dance together in his backyard. She ends up deciding she doesn't want the promotion. She wants to move home. So she buys her grandma's house and applies for a remote position for her gig. At the reunion, they end up winning Harvest King and Queen and she tells him the good news. She pulls out the bucket list and shows she added one thing - kiss at the reunion dance. And kiss they do. Thirty years later, the planet is basically out of air, water, and sunlight, and the Kree have given Carol a pretty BA new nickname: the Annihilator. Kree leader Dar-Benn discovers one of two powerful Quantum Bands and uses it to rip open a jump point through space. Unfortunately, this starts messing with the entire network of jump points across the universe. When Carol investigates one of them at the same time that Monica Rambeau investigates another, the two somehow get tangled up with a kid named Kamala Khan (but we can call her Ms. Marvel), who happens to possess the other Quantum Band. Whenever any of the three uses their powers at the same time, they switch places. Naturally, this makes fighting bad guys considerably more complicated. After a chaotic encounter destroys Kamala's house, the three eventually figure out what's happening and team up. Kamala is PUMPED gives their new trio a very on-the-nose name: the Marvels. The Marvels discover that Dar-Benn is tearing open jump points to steal resources from other planets and is putting the universe in serious danger in the process. And because Dar-Benn blames Carol for everything, she's targeting planets that are important to Carol. The Marvels attempt to stop her and Dar-Benn is destroyed when trying to use the bands  but the resulting energy creates a tear between realities. Kamala and Carol use their combined powers to help Monica close the tear, but Monica ends up stranded on the other side. Back on Earth, Kamala's brief experience working with Carol and Monica inspires her to start looking for other young heroes, beginning with Kate Bishop. Meanwhile, Carol heads to Hala and uses her powers to restore the planet's sun. And Monica? Well, she's now hanging out in another universe where she meets an alternate version of her mother and a very familiar blue-furred mutant scientist. He comes out of his office mad that his assistant from the old firm turned down Richard's offer to join his company. He's not sure what to do. He's like maybe I should just shut it down. Lorelai is like whoa that seems premature. Just hire a new assistant. Lorelai agrees to help him get his office set up and find a new assistant. Dean gets home and Rory hands him a letter outlining exactly what happened. He's not thrilled but is relieved to hear that Jess left town and invites her in for dinner...not the reaction Rory was expecting. When she tells her mom, she's like he loves you, just be happy. She goes to Richard's office and it's a mess. She takes the first call and realizes that he needs pens, so off to the office store they go. Rory is hanging out with Lane and they see a new music store is opening up. Lane comes back when it's open and gravitates towards the drums, something her mom would NEVER approve of. Richard is getting pretty comfortable having Lorelai around as his assistant so when they start interviewing perfectly capable candidates, no one can live up to Lorelai. She's like I can't do this - I have a job. This hurts his feelings and he tells her to scram. Rory is getting annoyed that everyone in town blames the crash on Jess, giving her a pass. It's time for an office opening party for Richard. Lorelai shows up and she sees that he finally hired someone. They talk business and Lorelai seems proud of her dad. Emily sees the cast and freaks out. Lorelai blames Jess and Emily pulls Lorelai out into the hallway and they argue. Lorelai says she gets to hate Jess for the rest of her life. They agree to disagree. Lane convinces the music store owner to let her practice there a couple nights a week. Rory is walking around town and sees that Luke is back. It's a lot and they almost instantly regret not just eloping. While all this is going on, Leo and Rich are also planning the company Christmas party and it's looking like they might have to cancel this which leads to a massive fight between the two of them at a friend's party. And then they get in a huge argument with Aunt Angela because she's being too overbearing and of course that leads to her feelings getting hurt. And Leo and Rich end up getting in a fight too. Everyone makes up and they get good news - they got a big client! They decide to actually listen to Michelle and Marc and just have a small ceremony at their house. And while they're at it, Leo and Rich are going to have a wedding too. A double wedding! Both couples kiss and they celebrate together.
