The finger tapping has begun in Vancouver as the draft quickly approaches on Friday! Matt and Blake dive into the quiet abyss that is the Canucks right now, amidst the chaos that is the rest of the NHL. The guys debate whether the Canucks can pull off any additional magic, beyond their scheduled picks this weekend, and whether their minds have been made up on the choice at number 3. TSN's Craig Button joins the guys to talk about the Canucks' uncertainty because of the Sharks pick ahead of them and how the remote style draft affects the dealings for Vancouver. Craig gives his final take on Stenberg's likely landing spot but he's open to a big surprise. Oh Canada! Matt and Blake tackle some nationalism today as the Canadian men prepare the biggest match ever at the World Cup, and as the Canucks watch another star American player force a trade south of the border. The guys debate whether Vancouver's draft will be affected by the history of the Tkachuks, Hughes and Gaudreau. They also get into the return of the Brady deal and whether it's any better or worse than what the Canucks received. They also look at the reporting that the Canucks will not be drafting Caleb Malhotra because of his dad being coach. The 4th Period's David Pagnotta joins the show to discuss what he's hearing on all fronts regarding the Canucks and whether the prices are too good to be true. He looks at the possible going rate to acquire Jake DeBrusk and whether Elias Pettersson could have salary retained by Vancouver to facilitate a deal. Then it's Elite Prospects' Cam Robinson with his last pre-draft hit with the boys.
