Finding my path is an interactive conversation style interview with different guests from different walks of life, discussing a diverse array of career journeys and life in general. Through listening to these unique life journeys, the goal is to hopefully connect and identify with atleast one of these stories, and use these insights to get inspired in finding your path.

    JOURNEY TO CIVIL ENGINEERING & INSPIRATION - FINDING MY PATH.

    Patience is a civil & transportation engineer by profession and is currently pursuing her masters studies at the University of Birmingham .  Part of her inspiration for this career path came as a result of the exposure she got, watching her dad who worked in the contracting business and finding it interesting. . This exposure in addition to being good in science subjects, led to this career path choice.  As a senior construction inspector at the Illinois Department of Transportation, Patience has to constantly prove herself by showing that she is the right fit for the position and capable of doing her job. Patience also shares some advice on choosing this path as a career path as well.
