    LA SPINZ April 6, 2026 – Final Sequence Segment 1: Paul McCartney performed 2 nights at the relatively small 1200 capacity Fonda Theater in Hollywood and the place was jammed with celebrities. Seen in the crowd were Ringo, Taylor Swift, Stevie Nicks, Sabrina Carpenter, Ryan Gosling, Billie Eilish, Steven Tyler, Olivia Rodrigo, Elton John, Tate McRae, Steve Carrell, Dua Lipa, Margot Robbie and DOZENS more. Who LET ‘EM IN? Segment 2: To convince people to eat snacks with spicy gherkin flavor, the folks at Frito Lay hired an ODD pair to pitch their latest product. Megan Thee Stallion and Nickelback have collaborated on a new music video that mixes winking humor, special effects and a remake of the band’s 2001 hit “How You Remind Me.” My stomach is ALREADY feeling SOUR. Segment 3: Blackpink’s Lisa announced a Las Vegas residency at the Coliseum at Caesar’s Palace. She is the first KPOP artist to have a residency in Vegas. While Jennie, Jisoo, and Rosé are off doing other things, Lisa will be performing there in November. The residency is called “Viva La Lisa.” But will the price of a ticket be 1/4th of a Blackpink ticket? Segment 4: Long running quiz show “Jeopardy” will be spinning off to You Tube later this month. It will start with an episode hosted by Ken Jennings, with contestants from the YouTube creator world: Monét X Change, Rebecca Black and Brennan Lee Mulligan. Also, the other Jeopardy spinoff “Pop Culture Jeopardy! is coming to Netflix. I’ll take ‘Too Many Jeopardys’ for $600, Ken. Segment 5: The cast of reality show “Laguna Beach” reunited after twenty years. The “Reunion: Laguna Beach” red carpet premiere brought the crew back together in L.A. AND everyone was THERE, from Lauren Conrad to Kristin Cavallari to Stephen Colletti. The series is now airing on the Roku Channel. The cast will soon be going back to being known as WHO?? Segment 6: Dead Or Alive: Sandra Bullock is best known for the films “Speed”, “The Blind Side” “Gravity” and most recently, “Bird Box.” Dead Or Alive? ALIVE. Bullock is set to co-star in “Practical Magic 2” alongside Nicole Kidman and Stockard Channing. The original Practical Magic was released in 1998. Sandra Bullock is 61 years old. Segment 7: “The Madison” scored the biggest first season launch that a Taylor Sheridan series has ever seen. Following its debut, which saw its first three episodes launch on Paramount+, “The Madison” tallied up 8 million views in its first ten days. The series, which stars Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell, also SCORED BIG with women over 35…much like Russell. Segment 8: Comedian Bill Maher confessed he took no issue with Donald Trump’s attempt to block his Kennedy Center honor, noting he was happy to “keep the game going” with the president. Yep, a week after The White House calling it “fake news”, they DID announce Maher WOULD receive the 2026 Mark Twain Prize for American humor. Yep, just another TACO. Segment 9: “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” star Glen Powell is voicing Fox McCloud, the surprise Nintendo character joining the Mario Bros. Powell most recently starred in the thriller “How to Make a Killing” plus last year’s “Running Man.” His breakout role was “Top Gun: Maverick” in 2022. Powell is reportedly worth 16 million dollars. FOR NOW.   Segment 10: Idiot Of The Week – A former Tiger Woods employee blasted the golfing champion after his recent wild rollover car crash and DUI arrest. He said quote, “The guy is a terrible driver. He drives like a bat out of hell, very often on a road where lawn services are parked with heavy equipment.” Unquote. Yep, Woods specialty is ROLLOVER accidents. IDIOT! Segment 11:  CBS has cancelled the series “Watson’ after 2 seasons, and also canceled the comedy “DMV” after 1 season. However, they RENEWED 16 of its programs, including “Matlock,” “Elsbeth”, “Marshals” and “Tracker.” Meanwhile, the “CBS Evening News” sunk to its lowest numbers, dipping below 4 million viewers. Dead Walter Cronkite said…nothing. Segment 12: Russell Brand‘s trial on rape and sexual assault charges has been delayed. The trial, which will combine all seven charges that have been brought against the comedian and actor in the last year, was originally set to begin in London on June 16th but will now begin on Oct. 12th. It is expected to last up to two SALACIOUS months. Loser. Segment 13: The teaser trailer for HBO’s Harry Potter series shattered records, amassing over 277 million views in its first 48 hours. The debut teaser more than doubled the previous record for the most-watched trailer in HBO history, setting the stage for the series’ release on Christmas Day, 2026. WHICH will be here before you KNOW it. Uggh. Segment 14: The TV adaption of the Anne Rice novel “Talamasca: The Secret Order” has been canceled at AMC after just one season. It was a disappointment for the company, which has been bleeding money over the past several quarters. A spokesperson for AMC said, “While we are not proceeding with another season, we are proud of the series” and BLAH BLAH BLAH…” Segment 15: Trash Bin – A minor, who is accusing diddler and reality tv star Joseph Duggar of grooming and sexual assault, detailed her allegations to investigators. The young girl, who was only 9 years old at the time, said Duggar’s hand repeatedly grazed her private parts and he had her sit on his lap several times during a family vacation. He was 26. Gross. Segment 16: News Wrap – a) For the second time in just over a year, Netflix is raising prices in the U.S. b) Apple will spend $400 million to manufacture essential components in the U.S. c) Elon Musk’s Grok has been ordered to stop creating AI nudes by a Dutch court. d) Epstein victims will get $72 million dollars from a Bank of America settlement for overlooking signs that his accounts were used to further his abuse of young women. ABOUT TIME. Segment 17: Number 1’s – Super Mario Galaxy, BTS Arirang, Team Speed 3, Project Hail Mary Segment 18: Song Of The Week – BTS – “Swim” The new studio album from KPOP supergroup BTS, “Arirang”, is out now and has been a huge seller. The group’s 82 date stadium tour kicks off this week in Seoul and includes 4 nights at L.A.’s SOFI STADIUM in September. The group’s documentary, “BTS The Return”, is airing on Netflix. One piece of bad news – group member RM suffered a sprained ankle and ligament tear and only has limited movement. Other than that, the band is excited to perform live around the world, which will include several songs off the new album, like this one which we LOVE.     LA SPINZ – March 30, 2026 – Final Sequence Segment 1: KPOP supergroup BTS returned to the limelight after a 4 year hiatus to complete military service. “Arirang,” the group’s first studio album in six years, debuted with 110 million first-day streams on Spotify, which easily beat the 63 million that the year’s previous leader, Harry Styles’ “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally” did on ITS first day. SORRY HARRY. Segment 2: Noah Kahan made audiences laugh and cry at the South By Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Texas. Kahan is featured in a new Netflix documentary about depression and body dysmorphia, called “Out Of Body.” In the film, Kahan opens up about his disordered eating, saying he has struggled with his body image for 15 years. But DON’T pass the popcorn…he KAHAN’t eat it. Segment 3: A video of Taylor Frankie Paul throwing barstools and cursing at her ex in front of her crying child caused Disney to pull the plug on Paul’s upcoming season of “The Bachelorette”. However, Taylor’s castmates on “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” had ALREADY complained to Disney previously about her behavior….so Disney already KNEW. Bad mouse! Segment 4: Director Sofia Coppola has shelved a planned 2026 film project with long-time collaborator Kirsten Dunst, stating the project felt “too SAD” given the current “dark times”. The untitled period piece, which was set to shoot in the U.S., is dead in the water. Coppola said she wants to direct a docu-drama on Britney Spears. And that’s NOT sad? Segment 5: In her best-selling memoir, ‘You with the Sad Eyes’, Christina Applegate confesses to dumping Brad Pitt for Skid Row frontman, Sebastian Bach. She says that Pitt was her date to the 1989 MTV Video Music Awards, but when she met Bach there, she dumped Pitt to hang out with the rocker. Bach, now 57, says he was just a YOUTH, GONE WILD. Segment 6: Dead Or Alive: Nicholas Brendon is best known for playing Xander Harris for 7 seasons of “Buffy, The Vampire Slayer.” Dead Or Alive? DEAD. In recent years, Harris had issues with drugs and had left the entertainment industry and focused on art and painting. He was NOT being considered for the “Buffy” spinoff which ALSO died last week. BOOO. Sorry. Segment 7: The trailer for “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” has become the biggest trailer of all time with 718 million views in just 24 hours. The Spidey trailer from Sony Pictures broke the previous record held by “Deadpool and Wolverine,” which had 365 million views. Good thing someone at Sony had the “SPIDEY SENSE” to green light the project. Segment 8: The argument between Justin Bieber and Usher at the Oscars after-party was HEATED and continued to escalate until others intervened between them. The incident occurred at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood, hosted by Beyoncé and Jay-Z, and was attended by a star-studded guest list. The friendship between Man Baby and Usher has been strained. SURPRISING? NOOO. Segment 9: Attention geeks! There will be a Minecraft World amusement park opening in London in 2027. The $70 million project will open within Chessington World Adventures in the UK from Microsoft-owned “Minecraft” maker Mojang Studios and owner of the Legoland theme parks, Merlin Entertainments. But, you WILL have to leave your Mom’s BASEMENT.   Segment 10: Idiot Of The Week – TikTok star Benjamin Gleason was arrested and charged with rape. He is now in Columbia County jail in New York. He’s been charged with 2 counts of rape, 1 count of predatory sexual assault committed against more than 1 person, 1 count of criminal sexual act in the 1st degree by forcible compulsion, and 1 count of 1st degree sexual abuse. IDIOT! Segment 11: Kelly Osbourne and her fiancé, Slipknot keyboardist Sid Wilson, have ended their engagement. This is because of Kelly’s difficult time dealing with the loss of her father, Ozzy Osbourne, who died last July. The breakup comes 7 months after Sid proposed to Kelly at Ozzy’s final concert with Black Sabbath last summer. But did her EMACIATED look also contribute? Segment 12: Nicki Minaj is being sued for failing to pay a BIG bill. 24/7 Productions is suing Nicki for refusing to pay them $275,000 for the company’s services to produce two concerts for Nicki. The rapper was evidently paid over $650,000 for the shows, but STILL won’t pay the bill. Hey, what do you expect from a Super Freaky Girl? Segment 13: “REACHER” star Alan Ritchson was caught on video beating up his neighbor, Ronnie Taylor. The problem started when Ritchson loudly rode his motorcycle through their quiet Tennessee neighborhood at a high speed. After Taylor jumped out in front of Ritchson’s bike, Alan punched him and kicked him four times. But no charges were filed, as a verdict of self-defense was…REACHED. Segment 14: A California jury found that Bill Cosby HAD drugged and sexually assaulted former waitress Donna Motsinger in 1972, awarding her $19.25 million for her trauma over the past 54 years. Cosby served three years in prison but was freed in 2021 after his conviction was overturned in Pennsylvania. Pay up, Bill! Segment 15: Trash Bin – Stars of “The Real Housewives of Pretoria”, a South African installment of the popular franchise, have been arrested for stealing thousands of dollars’ worth of groceries from Publix, a Florida grocery store. Melany and Petrus Viljoen were charged with aggravated grand retail theft and accused of stealing 392 items. That’s SOME shoplifting! Segment 16: News Wrap – a) Major League Baseball has signed a deal with gambling company Polymarket which will allow you to pretty much bet on anything to do with the game. b) Amazon is planning a new smartphone more than a decade after its Fire Phone flop. c) Xiaomi has trialed the use of its self-developed humanoid robots in its electric vehicle factory. Two humanoid robots can complete 90% of the work in three hours. Let THAT sink in. Segment 18: Song Of The Week – Dominic Fike – “Babydoll” – Dominic Fike had a difficult childhood, growing up in Naples, Florida because both of his parents were heroin addicts. His father briefly showed up over the course of a few weeks and taught him how to play guitar before disappearing again. Eight years ago, he made a tape of a song in a room a friend let him stay in, while he was under house arrest. He was dead poor and only had his music to guide him forward. He is now a well-known musician and actor on the hit series “Euphoria.” A song from that dark period of his life has taken off which we LOVE.
