    In this episode, Jen speaks with Jiaming Ju, a second-generation Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner and founder of Kun Health, to examine autoimmune conditions through a TCM framework. They discuss why autoimmune disorders are more commonly observed in women and children and break down the underlying mechanisms of autoimmunity from a TCM perspective. The conversation explores how immune dysfunction is closely linked to the regulation of the digestive system and the nervous system, and how the imbalances in these systems can contribute to disease. Leo Xia, aka Lowhi, is a Los Angeles-based men’s mental health facilitator who facilitates weekly men's support groups through Proud Asian Men and Asian Mental Health Project. Leo created these spaces to combat the global male loneliness epidemic and to support men in creating the life that they dream of through emotional intelligence and communication.
