    64. The tragic murder of Grace Millane

    Send us a text It was 2018 and a young graduate from University of London with a bachelor’s degree in advertising and Marketing had decided to take a gap year and go on a backpacking tour to see the world and celebrate her 22nd birthday.   She first spent six weeks in South America and on November 20, 2018 she arrived in New Zealand to spend 2 weeks exploring the upper North Island.   On December 2nd while she should be been celebrating her 22nd birthday, Thousands of miles from her home in Essex, the messages and requests for video calls from friends and family kept pinging through to her phone. But they were never answered.  This would trigger her parents to call Aukland police and make a missing persons report. What would later come to light is the tragic death of a talented, beautiful and full of life young woman at the hands of a monsterous total piece of shit who should have never been free to stalk and prey on women.  This is the tragic case of Grace Millane.     62. UNSOLVED: The Dardeen Family Murders

    Send us a text Trigger warning....This case is one of the most gruesome and cruelest cases we have covered.... But our hope is keeping it in the public will help it one day be solved.  As with every case we treat these stories with respect and dignity because these are real peoples loved ones and real tragedy people have had to endure. On the evening of November 18, 1987, police went to the mobile home of Russell Keith Dardeen, 29, and his family outside Ina, Illinois, United States, after he had failed to show up for work that day. Keith, his 8 months along pregnant wife Elaine (30) and their 2 year old son Peter all lived in the home.  When police entered the home what they found was a truly horrifying scene.  Elaine, her son Peter and a newborn daughter were found deceased in the family bed.  Keith was no where in sight.....It would be until hours later they would find out what happened to Keith and the endless search for answers would begin.     60. UNSOLVED: THE MURDER IN HOTEL ROOM 1046

    Send us a text On Jan. 3rd,  1935, a man calling himself Roland T. Owen checked into the Hotel President in Kansas City, Missouri.  Carrying no luggage, he was described as being 20 to 35 years old, had brown hair, a scar on his scalp visible above the ear, and a case of cauliflower ear. He was nicely dressed in a black coat and received the room key for room 1046.   He specifically asked for an interior room several floors up.  He paid for one night.  However, he would never check out. Two days later he would be found stabbed, tied up and bleeding to death in his room with little clue as to who or what had done these horrible acts.  In a real life game of Clue, police would try to solve the case including an alias, possible organized crime, mysterious phone calls and letters.....all of which are still unsolved to this day. This was not like him as he was always there early to greet people as they entered the church.     Send us a text On the morning of February 13, 2009, in Escondido, CA, around approx. 7 am, 14-year-old Amber DuBois was seen walking to school. She wore a backpack that held a $200 check earmarked for her 4-H Club project, where she planned to purchase a lamb who she had already named Nannet.  Amber would never make it to school that day and it would be over a year before a break in her case would come when on February 25, 2010, 17-year-old Chelsea King vanished without a trace while on a run in Rancho Bernardo Park.
