    Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses

    “Women be shopping” - Raven 2026. This week Raven and Campbell return to the Barbie Cinematic Universe and discuss classical music, reused character models, and feudal Barbieland in the 2006 animated film, Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses. Rest in Peace Catherine O’Hara. Pink Dream Recipe: -1.5 oz Empress 1908 Gin -0.5 oz elderflower liqueur -0.75 oz blueberry and bay leaf syrup -0.5 oz lime juice -Soda water or club soda Combine liquors, syrup, and juice in a cocktail shaker with ice. Combine and pour over a large ice cube in a rocks glass.     Quest for Camelot

    The most polarizing episode yet. This week, Raven loses her mind and Campbell deeply worries about her taste. Together they discuss animal companions, “comic” relief, and an unbelievable cast in the 1998 animated musical film, Quest for Camelot. The Adventurer Recipe: 1 oz herb-infused whisky 0.25 oz lavender syrup 8 oz brown ale Combine all ingredients in a pint glass and gently stir to mix.     Boozicals Holiday Special: White Christmas

    There’s snow business like snow business (derogatory). For this festive episode, Raven and Campbell share presents and cookie boxes, gush over Rosemary Clooney, and try to make sense of the writing choices in the 1954 Holiday Musical Film, White Christmas. The Snow Cap Recipe: 4 to 5 cups ice 4 ounces ginger simple syrup 4 ounces white rum 1 ounce lime juice Garnish with sugar coated cranberries* and a sprig of rosemary Blend everything minus the cranberries and rosemary in a blender (makes 3-4 drinks). pour into a glass and garnish in a crimus fashion. *Soak fresh cranberries in the ginger simple syrup for about 15 minutes. Coat with granulated sugar and allow time to dry (about an hour).     Wicked: For Good

    Raven’s fears came true…a straight romance subplot. This week Raven and Campbell discuss Nessa’s speedy policy making, literally dozens of ballads, and the ultimate villain that is the Cowardly Lion in the 2025 musical film Wicked: For Good. The Good Witch Recipe: 0.75 oz vodka 0.5 oz lemon juice 0.5 oz strawberry simple syrup 1.5 tsp raspberry puree Sparkling wine or champagne brown sugar Rim a glass with brown sugar. Add vodka, juice, syrup, and puree into a shaker with ice. Combine and strain into your glass and top with sparkling wine.     Wicked Part 1

    We are baaAAaAAaack! In the Season 3 opener, Raven and Campbell discuss changes to the source material, how to be a grade A hater, and what it means to be Good in the 2024 musical film, Wicked.  The Elphaba Thropp Recipe: - 2 tsp matcha powder - 2 oz vodka - ¾ oz lavender simple syrup - 0.5 oz vanilla liqueur - black sesame milk* Whisk matcha powder and vodka until smooth. Pour into a shaker with syrup, liqueur, and ice. Shake and pour into a glass and top with milk. *Combine ⅔ cup black sesame seeds, ½ soaked cashews, and 4 cups of water into a blender. Blend and strain with cheese cloth. Simmer over medium heat with 3 tbsp sugar and a pinch of salt for 10 minutes.     Happy Hour Special #10 Season 2 Finale

    EPISODE 100 WOOOOOOH!!! Literally cannot believe it. This week Raven and Campbell recap their Boozicals NYC weekend trip, Pirates! A Penzance Musical on Broadway, Season 2 highs and even highers, and together they discuss plans for Season 3. We will be back sometime in the fall. Stay tuned ;)   Campbell’s Craving Recipe: - 4 oz cooled tea - 1 oz rum, spiced or gold - ¾ oz simple syrup (went with a black pepper and earl grey syrup this time) - 1 dash aromatic bitters - absinthe to coat glass, not optional - lemon slice garnish   Combine ingredients in a chilled tumbler with ice. Stir to combine. Garnish with lemon slice. Pas de Deux Recipe: - 1 oz gin - 1 oz Chambord (or black raspberry liqueur) - 0.5 oz sweet vermouth - 0.5 oz lemon juice   Add ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake or stir (dealer’s choice) and strain into a chilled martini glass.
