Since the Hamas attack all episodes are focusing on this conflict and the region. It will open a new world for everyone who is really interested in the truth w/o bias and would like to understand this very complex and often confusing issue. I have to tell that I am coming from the progressive liberal side, but the past 3 months was a complete emotional and intellectual roller coaster for me digging deeper and deeper and sinking in this rabbit whole trying to make sense of what happened. Ever since Oct 7 I had an itching feeling that the usual Western left-wing narrative misses something profoundly important. In my research I finally found Dan's podcast where he is talking to subject matter experts, all conversations are nuanced and thoughtful. I think that Haviv Rettig Gur is especially worth listening to, he is a left leaning senior journalist in the Times of Israel, and his thoughts opened a whole new world of understanding for me. He is a weekly guest on the podcast. Of course I found some other very important sources along the way (Dr. Benny Morris, Sam Harris, Dr. Gad Saad etc), but I think the Call Me Back podcast will give you the proper facts and the moral clarity you need to understand this conflict.
