Republican Congresswoman Elise Stefanik and Trump Vice President contender erupted on Fox News this weekend after she was asked about her previous statements about President Trump. Back in 2015, when Stefanik was newly elected to congress, she told a local radio station that Trump was "insulting" to women and stood against what she was fighting for in politics. Years later, she has vowed total allegiance to Trump. This, coupled with Justice Samuel Alito's corruption and Senator Marco Rubio refusing to say he'll accept election results, is worrisome for democracy. Steve Schmidt calls out the hypocrisy and analyzes the transformation into MAGA extremism.

A New York Times report revealed that an upside-down American flag was flown outside the home of Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito just days before Biden's inauguration. The perversion of the American flag, normally a symbol of distress, was co-opted by the seditionists who stormed the Capitol. This corrupt and despicable act has no place in America and no place inside the Supreme Court. As the man who led Alito's confirmation process, Steve Schmidt says he is "deeply ashamed" of his association with the Justice.

Biden and Trump have agreed to debate. But the regular campaign cycle and schedule have gone out the window. There might even be an opening for Robert F. Kennedy Jr to join in. Biden must prepare for this debate because everything is on the line. There's worrisome reporting that he doesn't believe the polling. He should. This debate represents character, morality, rule of law. It is America vs authoritarianism.

Trump's daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, recently became the head of the RNC aka the Grifter-in-Chief. She recently said that the Trump campaign will accept election results if they "feel" that it was a free and fair election. For the record, 2020 was the most fair election on record. And yet, they're trying to subvert it and put doubt into MAGA voters' minds. What does that mean for America, especially when our media institutions aren't covering this issue like they should?
