VOGUE WILLIAMS: Debunking Divorce Rumours, S*x Parties & Spencer’s Wild Proposal

Vogue Williams is one of Ireland’s most loved exports. From co-hosting the hugely popular podcast, ‘My Therapist Ghosted Me’ with Joanne McNally to fronting documentaries and writing a Sunday Times bestseller, ‘Big Mouth’, Vogue’s built a career that’s as varied as it is brilliant.  She also happens to be married to my buddy, Spencer Matthews and over the years, she’s become one of my favourite people too. Nothing was off limits when Vogue joined me on Great Company and I found myself learning things about her life I’d never heard before.  In this episode, Vogue shares: What it was like being a rebellious teenager and a child of divorce Why she avoided grief after losing her dad at 22 years old Her favourite memories from her modelling daysSpencer’s WILD marriage proposalHaving a fourth child and why she and Spencer make such a good team  Vogue is the kind of person who reminds you that life is meant to be enjoyed and spending an hour in her company feels exactly like that.  Vogue Williams is Great Company.  You can get Vogue's book, Big Mouth, HERE If you enjoyed the show, you can also follow us:  Instagram- @greatcompanypodcast TikTok - @greatcompanypodcast  Jamie - @jamielaing And if you've got thoughts, questions and comments, you can email us at: greatcompany@jampotproductions.co.uk THE CREDITS Producer: Helen Burke Edit Producer: Faye Lawrence Assistant Producer: Issy Weeks-Hankins Video: Josh Bennett Senior Social Media Manager: Laura Coughlan Audio: Rafi Amsili Geovannetti Executive Producer: Ewan Newbigging-Lister Great Company is an original podcast from JamPot. Joanne McNally on her Dating Disasters | GREAT MOMENTS

Modern dating is… a lot. Between situationships, ghosting, and the apps that feel more like a second job, finding anything close to a healthy relationship has never been more complicated.  But on the bright side? It does make for some incredible stories. Joanne McNally is one of the funniest people I know. She made history as the first Irish female comic to headline Dublin’s 3Arena and soon she’ll be bringing her brilliant chaos to Celebrity Traitors. In this Great Moment, Joanne takes us deep into her hilariously chaotic dating life from the disasters to those awkward pillow talk moments.  Because sometimes the only way to survive the dating world is to laugh your way through it. Family Flowers Only with Hannah Kelly

This week I sit down with Hannah Kelly, who shares the loss of her mum and the complex grief that surrounded their relationship. For much of Hannah’s life it was just the two of them. Her father left when she was very young, and she and her mum navigated life side by side. But as the years went on their relationship became more complicated. Hannah speaks openly about her mum becoming increasingly isolated, the strain that put on their connection, and the difficult reality of grieving parts of that relationship while her mum was still alive. When her mum later died suddenly from a heart attack, Hannah was left carrying not only the grief of losing her, but also the grief of everything that had happened before. This is a deeply honest conversation about complicated relationships, anticipatory grief, love, and the reality that grief is not always straightforward. Hannah shares her story with remarkable openness and vulnerability offering comfort to anyone navigating the loss of a parent where the relationship wasn't perfect, but the love was still there. DANIEL MAYS: I've Worked with Hollywood’s Biggest Stars But I Still Sometimes Feel Like an Imposter

Daniel Mays has been in our living rooms for decades. From EastEnders and Line of Duty to Mrs Biggs and Thursday Murder Club, he’s become one of the most familiar and loved faces in British TV and film.  But long before he shared the screen with the likes of Michael Douglas and Stephen Graham, Daniel was the middle child in a working-class Essex family, desperate to be seen and heard. He found his voice through performing and never looked back. In this conversation, Danny shares:  Growing up in Essex with dreams of becoming an actor  Why he nearly didn't go to stage schoolThe unforgettable advice Michael Douglas gave him Taking on the role of the 'Black Cab R*pist' John Worboys and how it affected himWhat it was like performing in front of Daniel Day Lewis  Daniel was a joy to talk to and he’s a reminder of what's possible when you back yourself and never let go of the dream. Daniel Mays is Great Company.  Watch ‘Believe Me’ on ITV HERE Check out Daniel’s new podcast ‘Gangster Presents: The Story of Ronnie Biggs’ HERE If you enjoyed the show, you can also follow us:  Instagram- @greatcompanypodcast TikTok - @greatcompanypodcast  Jamie - @jamielaing And if you've got thoughts, questions and comments, you can email us at: greatcompany@jampotproductions.co.uk THE CREDITS Producer: Helen Burke Assistant Producer: Issy Weeks-Hankins Video: Jake Ji Senior Social Media Manager: Laura Coughlan Audio: Rafi Amsili Geovannetti Executive Producer: Ewan Newbigging-Lister Great Company is an original podcast from JamPot. First Dates Ireland - The Story Of Fayth & James

The loudest person in the room can be the one struggling the most, and James is brave enough to say that out loud. We talk about growing up in Clondalkin, the pressure to stay the funny one, and what it feels like when your mental health quietly collapses behind a big personality. James shares the moment he asked to be brought to hospital because he didn’t feel safe with his own thoughts, and why getting counselling was the first real step back towards himself. From there, we get into adult ADHD in Ireland, including the relief of finally being diagnosed, the reality of crashes after periods of high energy, and the practical barriers that don’t get discussed enough: assessment costs, limited supports, and the ongoing price of ADHD medication and prescriptions. If you’ve ever searched for ADHD diagnosis Ireland, ADHD medication cost, or mental health support Dublin, you’ll hear the human story behind those phrases. Faith brings her own powerful perspective from Sheriff Street and East Wall, including childhood anxiety, depression, and what it’s like to rely on sertraline while pregnant and still try to protect your peace. Together, we also speak openly about toxic relationships and domestic violence, how manipulation works, why people stay, and what it takes to leave. We finish with the joys and chaos too: meeting on First Dates Ireland, a surprise pregnancy, dealing with online trolling, and planning a future that actually feels safe. If this conversation helps you, share it with one person who needs it, subscribe for more, and leave a review so more people in Ireland can find these stories. What part of James and Faith’s journey did you relate to most? Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Family Flowers Only with Patrick Moloney

This week I sit down with Patrick Maloney from Kerry for a conversation that explores loss in a very different way. While we still speak deeply about grief, this episode moves beyond bereavement and into the loss of identity, the years lost to addiction, and the impact that struggle can have on relationships, family, and self-worth. Patrick speaks openly about his experiences as a young man battling addiction, and the painful distance it created between himself and his son. This is a deeply honest and moving conversation about shame, recovery, healing, and what it means to try and rebuild a life after losing so much of yourself along the way. Patrick’s story offers powerful insight into addiction, vulnerability, and the importance of compassion both for ourselves and for others who may be struggling quietly.

DIG IN: Understanding Anxiety with Owen O'Kane

Zoe and Jo have a fascinating conversation with therapist and former NHS Mental Health Lead Owen O’Kane. Owen suggests that by working with our anxiety rather than against it we can often see better results. He offers lots of tips and advice about how we can change our relationship with anxiety, and reassures us that we are not alone in dealing with it. Owen’s book Addicted To Anxiety is Out Now. As Owen says in the interview, if you feel you need support, do reach out to your GP.
