Living From My Own Centre with Kerry O'Sullivan

“I was on the floor begging for mercy”Kerry O’Sullivan is a mother, partner, author, shamanic and tantric practitioner, who just moved to Wales to start a whole new adventure. Get ready for an unapologetically woo episode! For some, this episode may sound like a touch of madness; for others, it may feel like a foreign language. And then there will be those who resonate instantly — for whom this conversation feels like a safe homecoming. Whatever your response, one thing is undeniable: in this bath, there is JOY. There is gratitude for life. There is reverence for something larger than us. It was easy for me to relate to much of what Kerry shares: this is a space I feel comfortable in. But I also know how potentially triggering this kind of sharing can be. So my first invitation is simply to pause and ask yourself: Why? What part of you reacts, and what might that reaction be protecting? My second invitation is to honour the bravery of every guest who gets into this bath. Whether we agree or not, can we choose, with a generous heart, a respectful response? These conversations are not about consensus. They are about courage. This episode lit up the room. I felt lifted by it in real time, and re‑watching it now, I feel the same. I hope you do too. What stirred in you? How do you experience life in your body? Would you ever choose a plant‑medicine journey in the jungle? Surviving Incest with Beaver Meadow

“Are you here to kill me? I haven’t decided yet.” ⚠️ Trigger warning: There is reference to child sexual abuse in this episode. Please care for yourself as you listen. Psychosexual trauma specialist and leading voice on intrafamilial child sexual abuse, Beaver Meadow advocates for incest and sexual abuse survivors. She teaches giving and receiving consent and questions the systemic misunderstanding that shapes survivor and perpetrator outcomes. I met Beaver only once in person, years ago, under the warm light of southern Spain. We didn’t exchange life stories then, just a brief, human moment.  Later, when our paths crossed again online, her posts began appearing in my world. They had a way of halting me mid‑scroll. Something in me stirred each time: curiosity, discomfort, recognition. I’ve learnt to treat those sensations as invitations rather than warnings. To pause. To ask: What is this touching in me? What wants to be understood?  I wanted to sit with Beaver in that same spirit, to hear her story and to understand my own responses to it. The journey she takes me on is one I’m still digesting.  After we stopped filming, she shared a moment from her past. Sitting with her father, a man convicted multiple times for sexual offences against children and asking him why he was attracted to children. His answer centred on their lack of body hair.  Later that year, when a client pressured her to remove her own body hair for his preference, she agreed and immediately felt the weight of that choice. She vowed never to do it again. In that moment, the meaning behind her name, Beaver Meadow, unfolded with a new kind of clarity.  This conversation is tender, confronting and necessary.  Beaver, thank you for your courage, your steadiness and your willingness to let us into the deeper layers of your story. I look forward to continuing this conversation: about how we, collectively, can stay more awake, more compassionate and more honest about the realities that shape us all. 'Handcuffed' CH4 Winner Charlie Gray

Winner of Ch4 Handcuffed Series, Charlie Grey. “I had to get a bodyguard to protect us from him” Charlie arrived with a kind of openness that immediately softened the room. There’s a gentleness in the way she speaks, a tone people too often misread, but if you sit with her for even a moment, you feel the steadiness beneath it. This is why I want us to linger longer with one another, to move past the snap judgments and meet the human waiting underneath.  And Charlie… She is luminous.  She talks about her time on Channel 4, the echoes of her upbringing and the quiet strength of her marriage to her remarkable husband. She lets us into the tender corners of her life and it feels like being trusted with something precious. This conversation was a balm on a busy week. I hope it lands softly for you too.
