    The Knicks had a tremendous comeback win over the Sixers to take a 2-0 series lead. Gio said the series is over as the Sixers have a ‘loser mentality’. Nick Nurse was complaining about not getting foul calls and not getting a timeout called when he called one. Joel Embiid said the Sixers are going to take the series. Boomer said the Knicks clearly have a home court advantage with the fans at MSG. Jerry is here for his first update and starts with the sounds of last night’s Knicks win. The Islanders gave up 2 goals in 9 seconds with just over 2 minutes to play, and they lost. Michael Conforto hit a HR as the Giants beat the Mets. The Yankees were shutout by the A’s, 2-0. Aaron Boone was tossed in the first inning for something a fan said in the crowd. Boone called it, ‘embarrassing’. Zach Wilson was traded to the Broncos. In the final segment of the hour, the Islanders blew their game last night to the Hurricanes. Even with a 3-goal lead, they looked overmatched. Gio said the Islanders will be fortunate to get one win in this series. 

    Hour 2

    The Knicks are up 2-0, but we need to see a Jalen Brunson regular season performance in this series. The Knicks have two full days off before playing in Philly this Thursday. Boomer said the Knicks are a collective group of guys busting their ass and playing defense. This is not your ‘Carmelo Knicks’. Jerry returns for an update and has audio from Mike Breen as the Knicks hit the game winner. We also heard what it sounded like on Sixers radio. We heard from our former boss, Spike Eskin, on the Sixers loss. Jerry went around the NBA playoffs last night. The Islanders gave up 2 goals with a little more than 2 minutes to play and they lost to Carolina. Aaron Boone got tossed 2 batters into the game and the microphones caught the entire argument. He was thrown out for something a fan said in the stands. In the final segment of the hour, there were tons of Knicks fans celebrating outside the Garden and everyone seemed to be having a great time without damaging anything.

    The Mets sent over their city connect uniforms. A caller said the Islanders are ‘gutless’. Even up by 3 goals, Gio had a feeling they were going to lose that game. Gio doesn’t think they're gutless, it’s just a really bad matchup for them. Gio said this is a euphoric morning for the Knicks and their fans. You’re up 2-0 and you have two days to enjoy it before game three. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of last night’s Knicks win over the Sixers. Jerry went around the NBA playoffs last night. Jerry has audio from 3 years ago as NFL draft experts reacted to the Jets drafting Zach Wilson. Dak Prescott was asked about being a Cowboy in the future. In the final segment of the hour, we played audio from Mike Francesa previewing Rangers/Capitals by saying he talked to some guys he was golfing with who like hockey.

A caller thinks the Knicks can sweep this series but could also lose this series. Now that’s taking a stand. Boomer called the Islanders game a ‘dagger to the heart’ loss because they had a 3 goal lead. Jerry returns for an update and goes through all the sound of the Knicks win and Islanders loss. The Moment of The Day involves taking a shot at the old Moose & Maggie Show. In the final segment of the hour, Big Zoo is in the studio. He’s a huge Knicks fan and is also supposedly doing the 5 borough bike tour.
