After 25 years at the Late Night desk, Conan realized that the only people at his holiday party are the men and women who work for him.

Over the years and despite thousands of interviews, Conan has never made a real and lasting friendship with any of his celebrity guests. So, he started a podcast to do just that.

Deeper, unboundedly playful, and free from FCC regulations, Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend is a weekly opportunity for Conan to hang out with the people he enjoys most and perhaps find some real friendship along the way.

First Podcast I Love

Hello, never had I been interested in Podcast. I listen to no other Podcasts. I have loved Conan for many years now. I found this Podcast via youtube and found that I would actually and frequently laugh out loud. I am a huge fan and loving the longer conversations with interesting people.

Pure Joy

I have been listening to this podcast since it came out and it has become such an important part of my week. Conan, Sona, Matt, and whoever the incredible guest that week is has been a companion through some very tough times and I am so grateful to everyone involved. Listen if you want to laugh out loud (even in public places, you’ve been warned).

Conan is a treasure

Whether it’s your YouTube videos or this podcast, I never fail to be entertained and cheered by your wicked and brave humour, Conan. And I love that your intelligence and comedic genius is clearly combined with sincerity and kindness and that none of these qualities seem to be sacrificed for another. Listening to you here in Ireland, I feel that you get the essence of us. I would LOVE to bump into you on your next visit to Ireland! The banter and laughter between Conan and Sona and Matt is the highlight of the podcast for me. Keep safe! Grateful for you!
