Joining the club after moving down to Melbourne once he finished up high school, Matthew recounts some of his favourite memories training under Tom Kelly, along with his journey being into the American college system after being scouted by the Lamar Cardinals. The non-linear journey isn't sugar coated and he gives us a real look into the last few years of running along with a closer look at what his training looked like before his 2:23.06 debut at Melbourne Marathon. Definitely an athlete to keep your eye on, this is not an episode to be missed!

Tuesday 15th September marks seven years since his passing. Special guests include, Colleen Kelly, Adrian Patti and Michael Gallacher. We take the opportunity to look back on his life, his running career, coaching achievements and the contribution he made not only to the club but the wider athletics community. We also encourage all members, family and friends to complete his famous 'seb co' session in his honor. Although not able to complete the session together in person at the track, we can remember how he helped shape the club into what it is today and continue his legacy. Episode 12 - Brad Camp Hosted by Nathan Down and Boris Mathys. Our twelfth episode of the 2020 DAC Podcast welcomes club record holder and 7th Australian all time in the marathon Brad Camp with a time of 2:10.11. He competed for the club in the mid to late 80's in the golden era of the club and the emergence of middle distance running is Australia competing with the likes of Robert de Castella and Steve Moneghetti. He also represented Australia at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, South Korea. He now lives up in sunny Queensland and we have tracked him down to hear about his time at the club and what it took to become one of Australia's best marathoners. Our eleventh episode of the 2020 DAC Podcast brings a special guest onto the podcast dual Olympian and multiple club record holder Natalie Harvey. She competed at the club in the mid 90's before moving to the UK where she has lived for the last 20 years. Natalie represented Australia at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta in the 5,000m and again at the Olympic Games in Sydney 2000 over the 10,000m. She has recently returned to Australia with her family and we caught up with her to talk all things running and life as she now knows it. Episode 12 - Launching September
