Ernest & Sara Evans cover George Jones' "He Stopped Loving Her Today" & "Golden Ring" #countrymusichttps://youtu.be/TCfVa5FduG8

About Ernest: Nashville's most unpredictable hitmaker ERNEST is “The Charmer” (MusicRow), a triple threat talent and one of Music City's on the rise artist / writers who is changing the status quo. The two-time 2023 ACM Award nominee and 2022/3 Variety Hitmaker fuses influences ranging from Eminem to George Jones, crafting a twist-heavy verse style that's become his signature, proving its mettle, and earning him nine No. 1 hits to date. The eccentric free spirit and 2X CMA Triple Play Award winner announced his new album, NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE will drop April 12. The album is the follow-up to ERNEST's critically acclaimed debut albumFLOWER SHOPS (THE ALBUM) and FLOWER SHOPS (THE ALBUM): Two Dozen Roses, the rebranded edition doubling its track list with 13 fresh cuts. Praised as one of Holler and The Tennessean's best albums of the year, FLOWER SHOPS showcased the more classically country side of his craft, and that “ERNEST creates a sound all his own" (Pollstar).

    The Accident

    The Accident

In this episode of Diving in Deep, recording artist Sara Evans recounts an event that nearly ended her life. Eight-year-old Sara, while living on her family farm in rural Missouri, took her motorcycle down the long driveway to get the mail. She passed the pond, which was against the Evans' rule for the children, but she vowed to herself to be careful. Looking both ways, she heard a car off in the distance, but she was certain she could make it across the highway. The last thing she remembers is seeing the color blue, which she later found was the car that hit her.
She was thrown 90 feet, and everyone on the scene though she was dead.
She awoke in the hospital after being comatose for three days and had to have multiple surgeries in the weeks to follow.  Sara does not shy away from how much impact that day had on her life, and she digs in to how it still affects her now.
As a mother to three children herself, Sara recalls these moments with an added weight on her heart. Being a parent means letting a piece of your soul live outside of your body, always vulnerable. It's in these moments that Sara remembers the importance of humility and emphasizes how leaving her ego at the door is what gets her through the ever-changing role of being a parent.

Sara and Craig share how their affinity for one another has built trust and a life-long friendship.
