Huberman Lab

The Huberman Lab podcast is hosted by Andrew Huberman, Ph.D., a neuroscientist and tenured professor in the department of neurobiology, and by courtesy, psychiatry and behavioral sciences at Stanford School of Medicine. The podcast discusses neuroscience and science-based tools, including how our brain and its connections with the organs of our body control our perceptions, our behaviors, and our health, as well as existing and emerging tools for measuring and changing how our nervous system works. Huberman has made numerous significant contributions to the fields of brain development, brain function, and neural plasticity, which is the ability of our nervous system to rewire and learn new behaviors, skills, and cognitive functioning. He is a McKnight Foundation and Pew Foundation Fellow and was awarded the Cogan Award, given to the scientist making the most significant discoveries in the study of vision, in 2017. Work from the Huberman Laboratory at Stanford School of Medicine has been published in top journals, including Nature, Science, and Cell, and has been featured in TIME, BBC, Scientific American, Discover, and other top media outlets. In 2021, Dr. Huberman launched the Huberman Lab podcast. The podcast is frequently ranked in the top 10 of all podcasts globally and is often ranked #1 in the categories of Science, Education, and Health & Fitness.

I have to say this is one of my all time favourite podcasts. If you are curious about the complex goings-on within our brains and bodies, then this is a must podcast to add to your list. Andrew Huberman is a gifted communicator, whose apparent passion and deep knowledge comes through with every passing episode. Can’t begin to quantify everything I’ve learnt thus far, with lots of practical tools for improving ones mental and physical health along the way. One of the best!

This podcast is so informative. It’s presented in a wonderful way that makes it a pleasure to listen and learn. I’m fascinated and find myself rewinding to make sure I’m really getting it. Also, it makes me more entertaining at dinner parties lol. Thank you.

I’ve never heard anyone explain the physiological and biological actions of the body so clearly! I am 100% hooked :)
A bit annoying when there’s a guest

Was listening to the episode with Dr Matt Walker and I found it annoying every time the host interrupted or talked over and sometimes hijacks the conversation. This went on for the whole episode and I struggled through because I was interested in what Dr Walker had to say
Thank u Prof Huberman

I have come to really appreciate this podcast as a top quality science based empowering journey towards self improvement! Andrew is your thoughtful intelligent guide and I find myself very much aligned with his way of thinking. I was a researcher in the field of genetics so i appreciate the nuance the need to be ready to constantly revise and fine tune information and sometime backtrack completely as what we thought we knew was wrong.. my sincere thanks go to Andrew for creating this rational space to discuss matters of health and wellbeing free and truly accessible to all. This has become my go to podcast
