081 Welcome to My Legacy Business Era

Welcome to My Legacy Era This episode feels really special to me because I'm sharing what I'm calling my Legacy Era — and honestly, it's changing everything about how I approach business, money, and life. Why I'm Building a Legacy Business After turning 60, I've been thinking a lot about what I actually want my work to look like moving forward. For me, a legacy business isn't about selling it or passing it down. It's about creating something that: Sustains me financially Gives me more freedom with my time Allows for travel, family, and spaciousness And most importantly… makes a meaningful difference I'm bringing all of my experience, all of me, into this next chapter. My Regenerative Business Philosophy Legacy, to me, means regenerative work — leaving things better than I found them. I care deeply about helping women, especially in midlife and menopause, transform their relationship with: Money Selling Receiving Because here's what I believe: 👉 Women deserve to work in ways that don't deplete them 👉 And when more money is in women's hands, the world becomes a better place Diversifying My Income Streams I'm no longer relying on just one way of making money. Right now, I'm: Profitable on Insight Timer Building on Substack Still present on social media (but spending less time there) Reducing my 1:1 client load I'm intentionally shifting away from high-effort models towards more sustainable, scalable income streams. Introducing: Fun Money Collective My core offer moving forward is my new membership: Fun Money Collective It's a year-long experience hosted on Skool — which I love because everything is in one place (community, content, calendar… all of it works beautifully for my ADHD brain). Inside, we focus on: Identity Self-leadership Multiple income streams Sales mindset This is built from my Fun Money Intensive, but in a way that feels more spacious and sustainable. A More Sustainable Way to Work I'm done with business models that require constant Zoom calls and high energy output. This membership allows me to: Deliver deep transformation Support women powerfully Without burnout or overextension Because women in midlife need business models that support them, not drain them. Why I'm Saying No to AI Overload I know there's a huge push right now towards AI-heavy businesses. And while I respect it, it's not for me. As a highly sensitive introvert with ADHD, I don't want: Constant automation noise Complex systems Big teams I've had $30K–$100K months before… and I know what it takes. And I'm choosing something different now: 👉 Simplicity 👉 Alignment 👉 Sustainability Exploring New Income Possibilities I'm still curious and open. I love seeing different business models — like apps or passive income streams generating consistent revenue. Will I build one? Maybe. Maybe not. But I refuse to buy into the narrative that I'll be "left behind" if I don't follow every trend. I care about: My energy My values And even the environmental impact Showing Up Authentically (Finally) I'm giving myself full permission to: Drop the perfectly curated content Let go of rigid niches Share from the heart On Substack and inside my world, I'll be talking more about: My life My body transformation journey What it really looks like to be in this stage of life Because that's what actually connects. Substack & The Legacy Era I'm also launching a paid Substack tier for women who want to build their own legacy businesses through writing. This "Legacy Era" isn't just for women in their 60s. It's for: Women in their 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s+ I've seen women in their 70s and even 80s create incredible new businesses. We are in a new era — and it's available to all of us. Back to Basics (Goodbye Guru Era) I truly believe the "guru era" is ending. The big, loud, complicated online businesses? Many are struggling. What works now is: Simplicity Foundations Real connection Inside Fun Money Collective, we start with what I call the Fun Money Hour: Daily non-negotiables Heart-led marketing Following up with people already in your world Because you probably don't need a bigger audience. You need to nurture the one you already have. A Message for You Let me say this clearly: You belong in business. You are worthy of making money. You are allowed to sell. You don't need: More certifications More healing More proof You get to show up now — as you are — and share your work with the people who need it. ✨ Come Join Me If this resonates, I'd love to have you inside Fun Money Collective. You can also connect with me on Substack, where I'll be sharing more of this journey in real time. This is my Legacy Era… and maybe it's yours too. Sending you love, abundance, simplicity, and spaciousness. There is more than enough for all of us 💛

#080 Bored or Burnt Out & want to burn it all down? Listen up!

Am I Burnt Out… Or Just Bored? Have you ever found yourself wondering if you're actually burnt out… or if you've simply outgrown the way you're doing business? In this episode, I'm talking about something I've been hearing from so many established women in business lately — that feeling of being flat, uninspired, disconnected, and unsure whether it's exhaustion… or whether the work just doesn't light you up anymore. Because sometimes, what looks like burnout is actually boredom. Sometimes your business hasn't stopped working because of the economy or the algorithm or "the market" — sometimes it's because you've changed. And when you've been in business for a while, that matters. I'm inviting you to get really honest with yourself in this episode: Has the sparkle gone? Are you still excited by your offers? Are you just repeating what used to work because it feels safe? And deep down… do you know you're meant for a bigger, more expansive way of doing things? I also talk about why making more money does not have to mean doing more, pushing harder, or working longer hours. Often, it's about doing less — but better. It's about having the right support to help you see what's actually going on: What's a strategy issue, what's a mindset block, and what's simply your nervous system clinging to what feels familiar — even if it no longer feels fulfilling. This episode is your reminder that you are allowed to evolve. You are allowed to pivot. You are allowed to reinvent. And you are absolutely allowed to build a business that feels spacious, exciting, profitable, and fully aligned with the woman you are now. Because what worked last year, last month, or even last decade… might not be the thing that gets to come with you into this next chapter. Inside this episode, I talk about: The difference between burnout and boredom Why so many women in business plateau when they've outgrown their current model How "safe" can actually become soul-destroying Why doing more is rarely the answer The power of strategic simplicity How to identify where your energy is dropping in your business Why an elegant pivot can create more joy, spaciousness, and abundance If this episode hit home… If you're feeling flat in your business, unsure what needs to change, or craving a simpler and more energising path forward, I'd love to hear from you. You can: Reach out to me directly Or book one of my Flourish Sessions, where we look at the simplest, most aligned way forward for your business This work is about helping you create a business that feels good and makes money — without all the unnecessary complexity. 078 Making Money in Menopause with Simplicity

In this episode, I'm sharing something that feels deeply personal and important — how to make money in midlife and menopause with simplicity. I start by talking about my background and why I'm so passionate about helping women thrive financially. I grew up watching my mum work incredibly hard in the family business without being properly compensated, and that experience shaped my belief that women must be empowered around money — especially in midlife. For a long time, I was completely addicted to my business. I worked around my kids' schedules, constantly chasing success and squeezing life in around the edges. These days, I'm in a very different season — one of simplicity, spaciousness, and freedom. My business now supports my life, not the other way around, and I want that for you too. I also talk about the gender pay gap — women in Ireland still earn around 10% less than men — and why it's so important that we prioritise our own financial security. We live longer, often take time out for caregiving, and deserve to have pensions, savings, and income that support the rich, fulfilling lives we're creating. From there, I explore how you can redefine your business model to match your current season of life. It's not about copying what others are doing or overcomplicating things — it's about finding a simple, sustainable way of doing business that truly fits who you are now. I share how I've evolved my own business to create more spaciousness and abundance, and how embracing flexibility has opened up so many unexpected opportunities. When we stop clinging to what used to work and start trusting the flow of what's next, everything becomes lighter and more aligned. I wrap up by inviting you to take a look at your own business and life seasons — and if you'd like support exploring how to simplify and align things, I'd love to have that conversation with you. 077 The Best Offers to Sell This Year

In this episode, I dive into a hot topic that's been coming up a lot lately – what are the best offers to sell this year? A new client asked me recently, "Are people still buying coaching?" And the answer is a big, resounding YES. Yes, people are still buying coaching – because people have problems, and coaching offers real, meaningful solutions. We've definitely seen some shifts in the online coaching space – especially following the boom during the pandemic – and it's true that some businesses with shaky foundations have collapsed. But that doesn't mean coaching isn't working anymore. In fact, I believe there's never been a better time to be a coach, mentor, or consultant. In this conversation, I talk about: Why the coaching industry is still thriving – despite the noise. How to simplify your offers to make them more sustainable and profitable. What's really working when it comes to attracting clients and making sales. The importance of connection in a fast-changing world (hello, AI revolution!). The best business models for this year – whether you love one-to-one, group work, or a hybrid of both. How to assess your current offers to find your sweet spot (and what to ditch). Why simpler offers that get your clients great results will always win. What to do if you're feeling like the market is "saturated" (hint: it's not!). I also share some behind-the-scenes stories about my clients' wins – like one who just delivered her first masterclass and had nearly every attendee book a call with her. It's these simple systems that work. We also talk about trust in the industry, delivering on your promises, and why people are becoming more discerning in how they spend their money. It's all about delivering true value, in a way that feels good to you and gets results for your clients. ✨ If you want to find the best offer for you – the one that feels aligned, easy to deliver, and brings in consistent income – this episode is for you.     Let's chat: If you'd like a 20-minute chat about where you're at in your business and how to move forward with more ease, I'd love to speak with you. 👉 Click here to book your free call Feel free to drop me a message on Instagram too – I'm @the_sarah_leather and always up for a good chat in the DMs! 076 3 Simple Steps to a Successful Business

Hi, I'm Sarah Leather, and in today's episode, I'm excited to share the three key ingredients you need to create a simple and highly abundant business. Before diving into these, it's essential to first examine your business model. Make sure it aligns with how you want to live and work right now—not how you did five or ten years ago.   Key Takeaways: A Clear and Aligned Offer: Your offer should match how you want to deliver your services. I've found success with a single core offer, which I scaled from one-on-one sessions to a three-month program, and later, group programs and masterminds. This approach not only doubled my income but also gave me more space and energy for my clients. Simple Marketing and Messaging: Focus on one lead platform for your marketing efforts and a secondary platform outside social media, such as a blog, podcast, or YouTube channel. Clear messaging is vital—speak directly to your dream client's micro-problems, and use relatable, tangible examples that resonate with them. A Simple System to Sell: Having a step-by-step process for making offers is crucial. Whether it's through social media, email lists, or masterclasses, ensure you're inviting your audience to take the next steps with you regularly. Remember, selling is serving, and it helps more people when done authentically and wholeheartedly.   If you'd like help implementing these steps or refining your approach, feel free to book a 15-minute chat with me. I'd love to hear where you're at and how I can support you in achieving your business goals.   Links & Resources: Book a 15-minute chat with Sarah Follow me on Instagram: @the_sarah_leather   Thanks for listening!
