We hear about his background in Olympic sport in triathlon from failing to make the Olympic team despite being given the kit to qualifying for London 2012 and how that experience from not making a team to being part of the iconic London 2012 Olympics has shaped who he is in the role of chef de mission for team Ireland. Annalise Murphy‘s mother was a pioneer in the world of sailing, Cathy competed for Ireland in the 1988 Seoul Olympics. Growing up in a house with an Olympian Mum & a sister who had dreams of going to the Olympics makes Annalise’s story fascinating.



Annalise chats about the reality of Olympic Sailing, qualifying for the Olympics and managing the mental side of high performance sport.
