In July 2014 a group of five friends travelled from Germany to Varna, Bulgaria for a summer holiday.

This holiday was spent like any other, they were partying, relaxing at the beach and enjoying their time off.

Just one day before the group were scheduled to fly home something happened and it resulted in one of them disappearing.

What began as a carefree Eastern European getaway ended in a family’s worst nightmare and a mystery that endures to this day.

Today we are going to be discussing the case of Lars Mittank.

    Jacob Wetterling | Ep. 10

At around 9:20pm on a warm October night in 1989, three boys rode their bikes home along a dead-end road from the Tom Thumb store in St. Joseph, Minneapolis, where they had rented The Naked Gun.

On a deserted stretch, they were stopped by a man with a gun, dressed in black with his face covered.

The man told boys to lie in a nearby ditch and asked each of the boys their age.

Two of the boys were told to run for the woods without looking back, but one boy was taken. For nearly 27 years, the case went unsolved, no body, no abductor.

Tonight we are covering the case of Jacob Wetterling
