Excellent History/ Science/ Thriller

Key moment in world history unfolds like a thriller

Interesting, but hard to listen to.

I’ve learnt a lot from this series. But it’s too long. There’s a lot of repetition, a lot of over-dramatisation, a lot of melodramatic padding, and the soundscape is overdone - was it really necessary to recreate the sounds of the attack on Pearl Harbour, complete with some serviceman’s screams?
Overall, a better series could have emerged if an editor had cut out about half of it.
But still, as I said, I learnt a lot.
