    Brent & Johnny welcome CAA artist and Sony Music Publishing songwriter, Garrett Jacobs, to the Challenge. Together, they create 5-6 different conceptual angles for writing a song titled "Broken Keys," sent in by CLIMBer, DE Beeler. Garrett's Story: After graduating from high school, Garrett decided to make his first trip to Nashville, Tennessee, where he was invited to play a writer's round at the renowned Whiskey Jam. By the end of the night, he was scheduling writing sessions throughout the week. In the first of those sessions, our guest wrote what would become his debut single, "The Healing". Not long after the song was released, he signed deals with CAA and later with Sony Music Publishing. He recently released a single, "Just Like You", along with the music video, which was exclusively premiered on CMT. It debuted at number five on CMT's 12-pack countdown. He is currently writing and recording for future projects, taking his sultry pop sound to the next level.
