The hosts have striked the balance perfectly with this pod, it is both informative and interesting whilst being hilarious in equal measure. David has the ability to get max value from the guests. You get an insight to their poker background whilst getting their opinion on the latest poker news, be it a trend, scandal, or even a success story and non poker related stuff like crypto and politics. David will often come to Dara throughout who through his own experiences always has something valuable to add to the conversation. Aside from the guests I can’t finish without mentioning the strategy segment. Which gives the listener a chance to listen to Dara’s thoughts on a specific hand usually accompanied by one of the high level players involved. Definitely gets the brain ticking over and will leave you eager to hit the poker streets.

Dave & Dara deliver great content and discussions about relevant topics and both possess a unique skill of getting lots of insightful info/tips/knowledge from their guests. Highly recommended for any poker enthusiast!

I have listened to about twenty poker podcasts - most are rubbish, there are a couple of good ones, but this one is the best by a long long way! The hosts are two Irish poker pros, both excellent players and they know the poker world inside-out. They are both funny and have great chemistry and they ask serious questions without taking themselves too seriously which makes for great interviews. Their guests are a mixture of the most famous players in the game and other lesser well known characters with interesting stories. There are usually 3 or 4 guests each week so there are always lots of points of view. They also do a really good strategy section each week, spending 15 minutes looking at one hand from every angle. I generally listen to every episode twice because there's just so much in it. I highly recommend!
