I was gifted a box of Tasmanian Whiskey samples from Transportation Whiskey founder John Halton up at Belfast Whiskey Week 2023, who is one of the biggest advocates for Irish Whiskey in Australia and Tassie Whiskey in Ireland. It is a selection from some of the many distilleries in Tasmania and it didn't disappoint.
JP O'Riordan, Dan Pennington and Paul Costello joined me in my back garden and we had a ball discovering all these new flavours.

Join me for My Chat with Ronan Collins from Redacted Independent Bottlers.
I met up with Ronan before Xmas in The Palace bar on Fleet St in Dublin. We had a great chat about Ronan and Michael Cowman's new Indy Bottler company, Redacted. 
Redacted have 2 releases to date - Killowen Single Cask and their new 200ml 'Naggin' series, the first being a 20yr old Single Grain from Cooley finished in a Barolo wine cask from Italy. They are both great releases IMHO.
