    נובמבר הביא איתו רגע מיוחד כפול- החופשה הראשונה המשותפת שלנו מאז הרילוקיישן, והחופשה הראשונה שלנו יחד כשתי משפחות בכלל. יש משהו בחופשה ראשונה במקום חדש שמרגיש כמו התחלה בתוך התחלה. בין ים טורקיז, שמש שלא נגמרת וברד בטעם פינה קולדה, אנחנו מדברות על איך זה לשלב שתי משפחות בחופשה אחת ועל המשמעות של חופשה כחלק מתהליך של ריפוי כשהחיים עוד לא לגמרי התייצבו. November brought a double special moment- our first vacation together since the relocation, and our first trip ever as two families. There's something about a first vacation in a new place that feels like a beginning within a beginning. Between turquoise waters, endless sunshine and pina colada slushies, we talk about what it's like to combine two families on one trip- and about the role a vacation can play in healing when life hasn't quite settled yet.

    באחד הפרקים הקודמים התחלנו לספר על מערכת החינוך. פירטנו על ההבדלים בין ישראל וארה"ב, אבל יש עוד כל כך הרבה שכבות לגלות. הפעם אנחנו ממשיכות לצלול להבדלים הקטנים והגדולים- אלה שמפתיעים אותנו כל יום מחדש. איך זה מרגיש להיות בתוך מערכת שונה, ומה זה עושה לנו כהורים ואנשים? On one of our previous episodes, we started talking about the education system. We shared some of the differences we saw between Israel and the US, but there are still so many layers to explore. This time, we keep diving into the small and big differences- the ones that surprise us every day. What does it feel like to be inside a different system, and how does it shape us as parents and as people?

    ברור כשכעוברים למדינה חדשה, הכי מתגעגעים למשפחה ולחברים. אבל לא תמיד חושבים על הדברים הקטנים שאנחנו רגילים למצוא על המדף בסופר. בפרק הזה אנחנו מדברות על הדברים שלא צפויים שמעלים געגוע לישראל וכמה לא פשוט לשנות הרגלים כשמה שהיה מובן מאילו פשוט לא נמצא. Missing family and friends when you relocate is obvious. But you don't always think of the little things that you are used to finding on the supermarket shelf. In this episode we talk about the unexpected things that we miss and how changing habits is not so easy when you can't do things the way you are used to.

Music is probably the best time machine there is. One song can take us back home, to friends or to moments we love remembering. In this episode, we talk about the soundtrack of our lives and how things sound differently in different places.

    לקרוא למקום חדש בית לא קורה ביום. לפעמים זה לא קורה גם אחרי 3 ביקורים באיקאה! בפרק של היום אנחנו מדברות על פרידות מאנשים וממקומות ואיך כל מעבר מאלץ את הלב לארוז מחדש. בין קרטונים ושמות של רהיטים שאי אפשר לבטא- ננסה להבין מתי בית נהיה בית. Calling a new house a home doesn't happen overnight- sometimes it doesn't even happen after 3 visits to IKEA! On this episode we will talk about saying goodbye to people and places, and how every move makes the heart pack up all over again. Between boxes, furniture and names we can't pronounce, we try to figure out when we call the place we live in- Home.

    עברנו מערכת חינוך, וגילינו שזה הרבה יותר מצלצולים ושיעורי בית. בפרק הזה נשווה בין מערכת החינוך בארץ ובארה"ב, ונדבר על איך למידה במצבי חירום הופכת לשגרה (ולמה זה בכלל צריך להיות ככה???) We switched school systems and realized that there is so much more to it than different bells and homework. in this episode we talk about the differences between educations systems in Israel and the US, and how studying in emergency situations becomes the norm (and why there is nothing normal about it)
