    Australia’s Fastest Man? Eddie Nketia Breaks Down His 9.84w 100m + The Rise of AUS Sprinting With Gout Gout & Lachlan Kennedy

    For today’s conversation I speak with Eddie Nketia of Australia who is a rising sprinter both internationally as well as in the NCAA.Eddie recently ran a 100m time of 9.84 seconds at the 2026 Mt Sac relays, and though it was slightly wind aided, that made him the fastest all-conditions Australian sprinter in history.He currently competes for the University of Southern California where he made the NCAA 100m final last year, but is looking to step things up in 2026.Prior to his time in the NCAA, Eddie competed at the 2019 and 2022 World Championships in Doha and Eugene, respectively, both times representing New Zealand, his country of birth. But after some complications, specifically being left off the team to the 2022 Commonwealth Games, Eddie began the process of switching to represent Australia, where he actual grew up for a good portion of his early years.Eddie is now part of a new generation of sprinters coming out of Australia including names like Gout Gout and Lachlan Kennedy.In our conversation, we discuss Eddie’s transfer from New Zealand over to Australia. We do a full breakdown of his 9.84 100m race at Mt Sac, including his execution and what he’s doing to improve his start.     Alexis Brown Breaks Down Her 7.07 World Leading Long Jump, Turning Pro and Goals for the 2026 Season

    In today’s conversation, I speak with Alexis Brown of the United States. She is the 2025 NCAA Indoor Champion in the Long Jump, and a newly minted pro having signed with Nike at the end of 2025. In her first professional meet at the 2026 Tom Jones Memorial, Alexis jumped a massive personal best of 7.07m, which not only a personal best and world lead at the top of 2026, but also made her the 7th farthest Long Jumper in American history. In our conversation, we do a full breakdown of her 7.07 long jump, including her execution, technique and mindset throughout the entire series. We discuss her time competing for Baylor and her transition to the professional world including finding an agent and eventually signing with Nike.     Maia McCoy Explains Transferring to Liberia, Coming Back to Represent the United States, Then Becoming One of the Top Sprinters in the World

    In today's conversation, I speak with Maia McCoy of the United States who is a rising star in women's sprinting. Born and raised in Tennessee, she attended the University of Tennessee where she was an All-American in the sprint events both indoors and outdoors. She likely popped onto many people’s radars in 2025 though as she frequently competed on the international circuit at both diamond league and continental tour meetings, finishing the year ranked 14th in the world in the 100m and setting a personal best of 10.96 seconds. Prior to 2025 though you may have heard of her for representing Liberia where she won 100m silver at both the 2024 African Championships in Cameroon and African games in Ghana. But representing Liberia didn’t work out and she is now in the process of transferring back to represent her home country of the United States. In our conversation we discuss Maia’s transfer to Liberia, as well as the process of transferring back to the USA. We also break down that amazing 2025 season, finding a pocket of consistency, and becoming one of the top ranked sprinters in the world.     Max Thomas After New 100m PB of 9.90, Turning Pro Early, Team USA 4x100 & Goals for 2026

    In todays conversation, I speak with Max Thomas from the United States who is a young rising star in both the 100m and 200m. He recently ran a personal best of 9.90 in the 100m at the 2026 Florida Relays which is the fastest time by any American at the top of April and 2nd fastest time in the world. Max attended the University of Southern California and at the 2025 NCAA Championships, finished 2nd place in the 100m. Shortly after, he decided to forgo his final year of eligibility and instead turn pro signing with On. In addition to his recent 100m personal best outdoors, he finished 4th place in the 60m at the 2026 USA Indoor Championships. In our conversation, Max breaks down his 9.90 personal best including his race pattern and execution. He reflects on his 2025 NCAA season and explains why he decided to turn pro early.     World Indoor Champion Christopher Morales Williams Breaks Down His Indoor 400m Gold, 2026 Goals and Growth as a Sprinter

    Christopher Morales-Williams of Canada is the newly crowned 2026 World Indoor Champion in the 400m. He is also the 2024 NCAA indoor and outdoor champion in the 400m while competing for the university of Georgia. Back in 2024, Chris ran an indoor personal best time of 44.49 seconds, which stands as the fastest indoor 400m time in history. He has had the opportunity to represent Canada at the Olympics and World Championships, and at 21 years old, his career is barely just getting started. After sickness in 2025 kept him from performing to the best of his ability, he kicked off 2026 with a gold medal and a clear outlook on his future. In our conversation we dive into that Gold medal winning performance at the world indoor champs, including an in-depth breakdown of the race.
