Baba Iqbal Singh Ji, M.Sc. Agriculture, Retd. Director of Agriculture, Government of Himachal Pradesh Taking over charge of The Kalgidhar Society in 1965 after his mentor and guide, Sant Teja Singh (MA, LLB, and A.M. Harvard) passed away. Baba Iqbal Singh after retiring in 1987 operationalise the mission of “Combining modern education with faith to produce good global citizen”. He started a one-room school in 1986 with only five students which today is a chain of 129 Akal Academies, two full-fledged Multi-Disciplinary state of art Private Universities benefitting around 70,000 rural students.

Baba Iqbal Singh Ji, M.Sc. Agriculture, Retd. Director of Agriculture, Government of Himachal Pradesh Taking over charge of The Kalgidhar Society in 1965 after his mentor and guide, Sant Teja Singh (MA, LLB, and A.M. Harvard) passed away. Baba Iqbal Singh after retiring in 1987 operationalise the mission of “Combining modern education with faith to produce good global citizen”. He started a one-room school in 1986 with only five students which today is a chain of 129 Akal Academies, two full-fledged Multi-Disciplinary state of art Private Universities benefitting around 70,000 rural students.
