    Persephone Rising: An Ecstatic Dance Ceremony

    For the first Full Moon of Spring, and recorded on the Spring Equinox, this episode of Deconstruction offers a guided ecstatic dance ceremony. This episode is a ceremony. A journey woven around the ancient myth of Persephone, the maiden who descended into hell and rose as its Queen — transformed enough that all of life responded to her blooming. We open the circle with the story of Persephone, Demeter, and Baubo. Then the music begins. Thirty minutes of uninterrupted movement. We close in Shavasana with a meditation to land. Fairytales and Ecstatic dance are some of the oldest medicines we have. When the Body moves freely, without choreography or performance, something reorganizes. Emotion metabolises. What has been frozen begins to thaw.     The Art of Descent: Astrology, Alchemy & Becoming (Vika Bradford)

    In this episode, I sit down with my friend Vika Bradford to explore descent — into grief, rage, dissociation, identity loss, and the underworld passages that shape us.     WOMEN: A guided Invocation (Advanced)

    This is not a meditation for regulation. While the opening invites settling and embodied awareness, regulation is not the destination. It is the threshold. This is an invocation A calling forward. An invitation to remember the power that has always lived in your Body. Not as performance or force, but as capacity, choice, and inner authority returning. This offering was made from the embodied experience of being a Woman, for Women. And for anyone who feels the imprint of colonial, patriarchal, capitalist conditioning woven into the nervous system. The training toward diminishment, silence, and self doubt. The forgetting of one’s own authority. This is a gentle but uncompromising nudge toward reclamation. Not through force. Not through bypass. But through remembrance. This practice was created during a Mars Cazimi, a moment of purification and clarity of will. The timing informed the work, but the power is yours. Please note this is an advanced practice. It may evoke intensity or a sense of being stirred awake and is best received when you feel resourced and grounded. You are not broken. You are not late.     Wintering: A meditation for all Men

    This Solstice marks the darkest night of the year and the true beginning of winter, a season of retreat, lowered energy, and inward listening. Over the past year, what was once a largely women-oriented clinical practice has shifted into walking nearly equally alongside men. It has been a profound privilege. Again and again, I’ve been hearing the same themes: deep fatigue, loneliness, a desire to retreat inward, and emotions that have waited a long time to be felt. This meditation was created as an accompaniment to that experience. While it uses he/him language, it is accessible to anyone who feels resonance. It offers a gentle place to land in the body, to meet heaviness without trying to fix or change it, and to honour wintering as an intelligent and necessary movement.     Unlocking Transformation: The Healing Power of AEDP (Zara Neukom)

    For this Full Moon, and in preparation to have her back on Deconstruction, I am re-releasing one of the most popular episodes of Deconstruction with my dearest friend, Zara Neukom. In this episode, we engage in a captivating conversation exploring the transformative modality of Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP).
