#002 - SEO vs Paid Ads - Which one is better?

Do you know that 70% to 80% of users completely ignore paid advertisements? What does this even mean? Organic results are more likely to get clicks than paid ones. Yes, you heard it right. If you observe, users who search queries on search engines are now smarter than ever. They know what results are more useful by looking at the data google provides on the search results page. But HOW? and WHY? To understand this, you must put yourself in the user's shoes. Let's take an example. I was searching for the "Best hosting provider in India." In that, I got plenty of paid and organic results combined. But I went with the first two results from the title and descriptions. Using these results makes sense since they show me a list of hosting providers to choose from. Now here I want more choices. The purpose is to compare features, prices, etc. So, going with those results made sense and was the solution for me. Now let's understand why I didn't go with the paid one. There are two reasons.👇 👉 Not meeting requirements (If someone is searching keyword like "BEST," then most probably they are looking to have more choices to compare) 👉 Information does not match the search query There might be many more reasons, but these two are the primary reasons why users ignore paid advertisements. Does that mean paid results are useless? No. It can be effective if done by understanding the search query's intent and problem. That's why I put a lot of pressure on the intent and the pain points. Future is the "Pain Point SEO," not "Keyword base SEO."
