New YouTube Guidelines 2019 - Challenge Videos | Platform News

The New YouTube Guidelines for 2019 are cracking down on challenge videos that are “harmful or dangerous,” citing the Bird Box Challenge and Jake Paul driving into traffic blindfolded as the motivation. Are these youtube new community guidelines coming a little too late or should YouTube Challenges be left alone?    In defense of the YouTube Guidelines 2019, 2018 saw a tremendous amount of dangerous challenge videos, including the Tide Pod Challenge, which left countless youth injured and/or hospitalized. YouTube has tried to offer advice and have given challenge video guidelines in the past, but when creators like Jake Paul take them a bit too far and drive into traffic blind folded, it’s easy to see why new YouTube Guidelines in 2019 are necessary.    YouTube Challenges are fun and many are safe to engage in, but many have taken these challenge videos too far and the YouTube new community Guidelines are the platform’s attempt to reigning in some of these crazy / harmful stunts.   Personally, the new YouTube Guidelines 2019 on Challenge Videos is 100% okay with me, as many youth have been harmed by following the examples of Jake Paul, Logan Paul, and many others that took challenge videos way too far!   What are your thoughts on Challenge Videos, YouTube new policy 2019, or YouTube cracking down on challenge videos in general? Let me know in the comments!   #ChallengeVideos #NewYouTubeGuidelines #BirdBoxChallenge

CarryMinati's Bye PewDiePie, Anupam Kher Trailer Missing | Platform News

This week, Platform News dives into CarryMinati's Bye Pewdiepie Diss Track, Anupam Kher's 'The Accidental Prime Minister' trailer that went missing, and what's popular on youtube worldwide, specifically what's popular on youtube India!    First, we talk about CarryMinati's Bye Pewdiepie diss track and how CarryMinati just might be the new Pewdiepie! We also dive into how Pewdiepie's race with T Series and his release of "B*tch Lasagna" is what prompted CarryMinati to strike back (even though T Series isn't paying much attention to Pewdiepie).    Been living under a rock and haven't seen the CarryMinati Bye Pewdiepie Diss Track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2QBsD...    Then, thanks to a YouTube Glitch, the Anupam Kher trailer missing from the list of YouTube trending videos in India after hitting the No. 1 spot and getting over 63 Million views! The Accidental Prime Minister trailer missing from YouTube trending videos in India hit Anupam Kher hard this week, and Platform News covers how Anupam Kher questions YouTube on Twitter, what (if anything) YouTube did about it, and how the Anupam Kher trailer missing didn't hurt The Accidental Prime Minister's popularity AT ALL!   Check out The Accidental Prime Minister Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6a7Y...  We also want to thank Crimson Studios for awakening small YouTubers to what's popular on youtube India! Ryan also has a Social Media news report and talks about the Bye Pewdiepie roast, CarryMinati, what all Indian youtubers on Pewdiepie vs. T Series.
